To be honest I wouldn't say that putting warframe up against FFXIV is a good idea on multiple aspects but the biggest one being is, you can pay money to basically ignore the grind in warframe.

He's not defending FFXIV's grind. He's saying that, because of how it's done, he has more fun grinding in an extremely grindy F2P game than here.

Quite a few people missing the point in this thread. OP is saying that Warframe has long grinds without paying but even though it is long he is having fun doing it compared to the grind in Final Fantasy XIV which has less grind compared to it.

im sorry to say but im playing warframe actively, and no its not a grind fest game
because i enjoy every pty im making !!
i want a survival pty lets go !!
spying mission ? same go !!
for me i take more the reward, as a + to the game
and its free :O !!
and sorry to say but EVERY FPS game are like this !!
borderland 2, battlefield, call of duty, the things its (for BF and CoD) its there is not any item or stuff to farm or upgrade (but its basicly the same)
its just a point of view !
im playing warframe like when im playing BF, nothing different, i have gun and i shoot ppl :P

I played warframe when first got PS4... find it god awful controls and just boring over all, lol

So OP, the real question nobody asked yet.
Will those unlockable frames become obsolete in the next month or 2?

no they become even more better !! (exemple actually a frame rhino prime gonna be taken off, from table loot) making it a ULTRA RARE frame (and prolly even more !!)
The only problems in Warframe are 10-slot mods and ducat grind. Credits are only an issue because of the 10-slot mods.
A simple rework to the fusion formula to move away from the exponential increase would fix it.
Also their core gameplay is fun with actual good combat instead of XIV's bashing your face against a noninteractive wall of health until it dies or your face breaks.
