I thought the relic was supposed to be a grind through action, not through saving up or playing the market. I mean some people can just go and flat out buy the HQ's they need while others like me are stuck paying 20+k a pop for raid food with no real income to speak of, slowly but surely running my (legit) money well dry - How am I supposed to get a hold of those items in any feasible amount of time?

I understand the notion that relic should be a grind but... The combination of content drought and a poorly received raid has your players craving for something to do, and relic could very well be it, but you absolutely bombed it. The wait was so not worth it, this doesn't seem very well thought out and it seems like so little effort went into making it.

Probably going to get banned for explicitly voicing my dissatisfaction, but so be it. This is absolute arse.

I'm sure this will be more common than people realize. Going by a recent "How much gil do you have thread" I figured I was doing alright but I don't think I'll be inclined to spring for these things given that they're currently going for 1m+. Don't you need like 16 total pieces or something? Even if they drop to say 1/4 of the current cost that will still be a substantial amount of gil for the average person.

RMT are going to be jumping for joy that's for sure.

Idon't mind the grind either but that's not the point. We have a real problem here because SE is giving us just a lot a work to do just to keep everyone busy (like the mommy who turns on the TV for the kids). Would be better if they do something creative and new for the game before the Meteor hit us again :S

I gotta say I really don't mind this grind. It's a goal to work towards.

But the crafting part, that's the meh part. I think they need to cut that out of future relic patches.

Well in my opinion, its paying off to level your crafting classes up and gearing them up. They are getting good money for all the hard work.

I think I discovered that I could, instead of grinding a single relic, play and beat a bunch of different games. I don't mind pouring time into something, sure. But my time is still valuable. I could be pouring it into better things.

If SE wants me to be some crafter's slave, there are far more pleasurable ways to implement it than that. At least if you have such inclinations.

My mind went to a dirty place. And I thank you for that.

I don't mind the grind, I just want an actual story with it. Well, I do mind the grind when its something stupid like 600+ Alex runs, that just reeks of lazy on the devs part. Make the grind fun, not burn out material!
