Glad yours worked out for you. I'm just over here q_q'ing.Scholar Got Piety as the Main secondary Stat LOL <3 But at least we got crit zomg. Finally! Haven't had a single book with crit Since Hive. (Eso. Nope. Upgraded Eso, Obviously Nope. Alex Savage. Nope. Thordan. Nope.) Now Just gotta spam Diadem for that missing crit top. RIP SCH Crit top. Lost since i160.
They check the stats of the other i210 weapons available and avoid duplicate stats.
DRG already has CRIT/DET and CRIT/SS as available weapons. Their options where Accuracy/Something or SS/DET.
This is more or less true for every job. The jobs with Shitty Upgraded Eso/Gordian weapons get good Relics. The jobs with already good Eso/Gordain get shitty relics.
That isn't the point, the point is HOW the team decides which stats go on an item. A careless decision or a lack of care can seriously hamper an item, especially an item with a shelf life of several years.
I'm more interested in the reasoning, because I struggle to see the logic.
Take a look at the other i210 weapons, that should atleast tell you why they went SKS/DET. As for the stats numbers ... who knows?
And they actually no longer put Accuracy on weapons as a design choice, so SS/DET was the only available combination that had not already been used at this item level tier.
Meanwhile, on the PLD and SMN threads...
We don't want it.
Even Acc would be better.
Since the need for it will always increase with every new content.
The amount of SS needed won't change unless they change the skills. Eugh.
At least I don't mind the model.
Now to find a glamour set to match it.

Dartboards are amazing decision makers. That isn't the point, the point is HOW the team decides which stats go on an item. A careless decision or a lack of care can seriously hamper an item, especially an item with a shelf life of several years.
