Hopefully just a cameo.
I honestly can't stand Hildibrand himself and would rather he didn't overshadow the new characters we're getting insight to.

Likewise. I know we're not alone either - quite a lot of people find Hildibrand to be very tedious. If he's kept as a self contained set of quests then that's fine - but they advertised these side quests as being something new. I'll be very disappointed if it's a bait and switch.![]()

If its Hildebrand, well I cant wait. Besides it not like many of these characters are engaging. Hildabrand just happens to stand out with his goofiness which makes things a bit brighter and whimsical. After all the dark tone doesn't really last long in this game, yeah the uldahn princess kinda died, but we're the warriors of light, we dont die, just get knocked out a bit and will eventually prevail anyway. Hildabrand just makes everything fun again, hopefully this will too, has a bit of a Harry Potter esque going on....with elves...and Hormoine Granger as the bad guy lol.
