Really looking forward to a Shiva glamour I wonder if it will be applicable to only certain pet types or any of the three.

Balance issues. The three egis we have at the moment aren't even balanced correctly, and it would be better for them to focus on the ones we have before adding any new ones. If they added new ones and they didn't add anything as or more useful than, say, Contagion than they would be pointless.
