Not really sure I understand your question... you bought the game even though you already have the game and you're asking what to do with it now you can't refund it? Activate a second account and have an alt? (that's what I use my Steam version for since my main account came from 1.0!)

If you only have 2 hours of playtime on it then you must have bought it quite recently and we've had /playtime in game now since 3.0 came out (so 6 months?) so there wasn't really any need to buy it again on Steam just for that which kinda your choice...

Sorry if I'm not understanding very well, but it just looks like you're asking what to do with the code that you bought that you didn't need to buy and you're upset you can't now refund?

Nah, thing is ... I got pretty confused at the beginning thinking Steam and Non-Steam have different Servers you could play on ... nevermind that.

I actually have A Realm Reborn two times :

Non Steam Version (This one which I post here) + Heavensward
    Steam Version with ARR only

I use Steam to login to my Non Steam Account, never using my Steam Key which you receive when you buy ARR on Steam.

Thing is, since I launch the Game on Steam and login in through my Non-Steam Account, the Hours are tracked by that Way.
Refunding doesn't work that Way anymore, even though, the Steam Key has never been registered.
I already got an Main Account, so having an alt is not needed and what for???

The Two Hour "Steam" Refunding Issue is actually, if you have more then 2 Hours Playtime on any Game, you can't refund it anymore.
Since the Steam Key has been untouched since almost a Year, my Hours are more then actually 2 Hours Playtime.

Giving it away to a Friend? Ya, might work but then, that Friend can't buy the Expansion since you need to have the Game in your Library to buy Heavensward.
Meaning, I can't refund it since of the Playtime tracked in Steam, giving it away causes only further Troubles so pretty much, the Key is a dead Key sitting on my Steam Library.

There must be a Solution for this...

    *Some Informations...

2478 Hours due of launching the Launcher and logging in with the Non-Steam Account
Bought on 22.01.2015 (Steam Copy) ~ Key has never been touched
