Does the Rank 8 Vanu beast tribe quest feel off to anyone else?

I'm using it to level dark because I don't like tanking so...I am going to rank 8.

But the 2.0 beast tribes sat at rank 4 (ixali at 7) until you had them all capped to hit rank 8 with all of them. At this point, rank 8 serves utterly no purpose other than to boost your exp by an undefined amount. Even the quest log details itself feels unfinished.

Once you get the final 1730 reputation, Linu Vali has another quest which simply sends you to talk to her brother. This very short conversation which is pretty much another double rainbow meme reference ranks you up to Rank 8: Bloodsworn . Rank 8 only increases the amount of XP you get from doing the Vanu dailies again. It really feels tacked on as if someone planned out an 8 episode story and then was told that there needs to be a 9th when filming was finished.

Oh I see, mmm its a shame that I already have all alts that I was interested on lvl 60 so I have no reason for doing those quests again, thanks for the details.

Lol well it's true..I don't like tank classes, only leveling up tanks for the achievement, (Dark knight cause of the lore)

I just completed the Rank 8 Vanu Vanu beast tribe quest and something feels off about it.

Does anyone else feel that the quest is incomplete or unnecessary?

I assume they're doing with the HW Beast Tribes what they did with ARR - when all the tribes from HW have been maxed out, a bonus "final" quest will be unlocked that will net you an item and a title. They just learned from their mistakes with the ARR tribes and had it be 8 ranks straight out, instead of 4 like with the 4 original beast tribes (and 7 with the Ixal).

The question is will they sell recolored mounts? Becuase I would like to ride a green/blue sanuwa, a Highland Goobue or a Cyan or Red Tursus
