Ahem, really don't want to be a prick as well, but you're a lancer 50, you know that Lancers in this game have lances, spears and haleberds, right?

Lances, Spears, Forks, Harpoons and something which is called "Halberd" but its having a reaaaaally big spike on its end. In some FF Games they are mentioned as Spears and in some as Axe. I guess we have a lot of room for speculations here. But the Galka Weapon has not really a Spike on its end.. its more like a big Axe with a little "knife" between the Pattern of the Axe and the Shaft itself. :P

I actually can see something that looks like a scythe to me. Look "inside" the bow, that may be a scythe held horizontally in perspective.

of course it can be another spike, but if it is, that guy really has loooong arms.

Its an Elvaan.. they tend to have "oversized" Arms.. which give them the kind of gay looking. XD

Ahah yeah, but that long would really go down to his ankles lol. He's an elzen, not an ape. Also, if you look at the original "evil armor", that's really identical to that one down to a T, there's no spikes on the forearms and hands, nor on any other part of the body under the hips.

Only one is behind the legs, definitely not compatible with that one.

On the other hand, look at the blade behind his ass, that you think is a spear head. Compare it with the other one that's on the other hip (the one nearest to the "camera"), the shape is exactly the same.

Anyone see the wierd crature next to the mi'qotes face and right next to her left boob there seems to be a sneak-esque creature. I messed with the brightness on photoshop and it helps to see things a bit clearer.

It's monk weapon. Or do you mean shoulder pads?

This can easily just mean that the galka is a dragon knight (the stuff he has looks more like an haleberd than a axe), and the top one can be a DRK.



Where do you see the lance? Considering that the spike that comes out of his rear definitely isn't a lance, as it's one of the spikes in his belt and isn't aligned with his hands.

dragon knight is the Japanese term of dragoon, it will be lancer.

Hmm, so SE has confirmed 6 jobs at this moment: PLD, WHM, BLM, BRD, DRG and MNK...

But there are 7 people shown on that cover of 'jobs' so what is the Galka??

There has been no job confirmed that uses an Axe... could they be announcing new jobs in this issue? Or is it just a fluke by the artist.... >.>

I don't know but it's bloody well annoying me... and if it is just a MAR (class) on a cover with all the new Jobs... this shame on SE for confusing me! LOL

wow, I think you hit it spot on, the mi'qote has wolf shaped monk fists lol. As for the galka his hat has horns kinda like a bull and i think his weapon is an axe, with red trimmed equip. could be rdm lol. The lala blm looking person is holding something that looks like an egg too.

LOl oh I agree, I don't see how it would be anything else... but SE has a way of sometimes annoucing things I wouldn't expect... such as the idea that it looks like Archer (my fave class) will become some kind of Bard (my most hated class). That actually has me kinda sad at them moment... I was really looking forward continuing on as my Archer and it becoming a Ranger or something, but Bard?

I know some are happy about it... but I don't know. I'll have to see how it plays if Bard, in fact, becomes the job for Archer... *sigh*

But anyway... things like that make me wonder, so until SE says yes MAR > WAR I'm not going to assume 100% it will or get my hopes up. LOL
