If you're super lucky, you can win 30k mgp in a day. If you're not, you can either lose it, get a few hundred, or get a few thousand.

I'm like than half way to "Mountains out of Gil-hills" Achievement for gaining 1 mil from mini-catpot. I only even do mini-catpot when I remember. Sad thing is that I spend most of the mgp for cards and silly stuff cause I never thought I'd get a million either.

i started playing ffxiv when heavensward came out. I only started playing triple triad to get the beast claw for glamour purposes. i kind of want that mount but at 1 million mgp that is ridiculous. i can farm 12000 mgp in 2 hours. it is feasible but now worth it in my opinion

I have an alt with 350k doing cactpot solely and I only started doing it a couple months ago at best.

The Mini-Cactpot is the best MGP reward for the time spent. Also, I agree that 1m MGP is a lot and they probably should lower it at some point, but not until they add other high MGP cost rewards, otherwise players might not have enough ways of spending their MGP. What point would there be in winning the Jumbo Cactpot if there wasn't anything exciting left to buy? Not that I'll ever win, I've matched 1 number once since Gold Saucer came out LOL

I haven't bought the Fenrir mount yet. Triple Triad cards have been my priority for now. I spent like 500k MGP to get Zidane and I'm still trying to get Warrior of Light.

It's like the hoarhound suddenly became Summoner's Summon 4 or something... noone is forcing you to get it. Noone's forcing you to get anything. I don't have the hoarhound nor the Ixal wolf, I already have my favorite mount. I just hope it doesn't look too stupid when Square graces it with the ability to fly... (seriously, it didn't need to fly. Why, Square, why?)

Well the top reward for the weekly lotto is 1M or something like that, just putting it out there.

There hasn't been a jackpot winner on my server since June.

Also, sign up for the Triple Triad tournaments once every two weeks. Even if you never play a single game, you'll get a 1000 MGP participation bonus.

I know three people who managed to grind out Fenrir since Gold Saucer was introduced, and another person who won the big lotto and bought it that way. It's the rarest mount for a reason.

I'll agree with all the other posts, the mini-cactpot is definitely the way to go, along with the jumbo-cactpot that draws once a week since they upped the base value you get from it even if you don't win. If you are REALLY desperate to grind for MGP, I suggest playing the gathering mini-games found near minion square. If you're good at it, (which I'm not), you can get at least 100-200 MGP from it per minute.....

I think getting 1m MGP isn't hard and probably take 3 months to half a year to get (depending on what you do). The hard part is not spending your MGP on stuff >D like adamantoise, the 2 new dances, glamours and minions.

I have Fenrir bought and almost have my second million saved up for Cloud card. Just takes time.
