pretty much already been announced that the dev team plans on implementing all of the standard FF jobs at some point. Samurai being the most popular its almost guaranteed to get added. But just so you know its probably going to be a tank as the current trend recommends.

I believe Yoshida stated he wanted it to be a DPS class, but it's still up in the air.
