You're far nicer than I would've been. I would've just let them die since they obviously pulled on purpose. You pull it, you tank it!

Believe me, my blood pretty hot, but I was already so flustered I don't think anything I said or did would have made me look any better. Bitching at your tank right off the bat isn't such a great idea if they have anxiety like I do, I just end up making more mistakes or forgetting what buttons I'm gonna press. I enjoy tanking for the most part though and I've never really had issues outside of this incident, so I'll just keep on keeping on.

Same day, I was running the Aery (I'm trying to get the tank boots and helm for a level 60 glamor ;c).

I was in a Aurum Vale run last night with a 56 WHM who was not using esuna or regen. Just cure with an occasional cure 2 and very very rare medica. Many, many, many wipes.

Sometimes you ask to yourself how these people reached that high level.

Gem of the day, was leveling my LNC at Halatali Normal and got a tank who doesn't even flash on pull or hold/snap aggro. Starts rambling after the first pull cause no one was attacking his "target" (but did not even mark anything to begin with, so in short he was expecting us to play target-of-target with him the whole run).
Got to the 2nd mob and he loses aggro on the other trash to the healer cause we attacked his target this time, tries to regain aggro on the stray NPC but loses aggro on his primary target right away.

In the simplest manner, I told him that if he's going to be a tank he will have to put some effort into regulating enmity. Got to the third mob and had to wait for him cause he was moving so slow that Stephen Hawking looked like The Flash in comparison, but instead of pulling he just starred at space. The other DPS got tired of him and voted him out.

I really wish more DPS would do the healers a favor and stay within range. :s

I got one. Just got done with Temple of Qarn on my ninja. We had a duo that queued together, a paladin and a astrologer. Anyway throughout the run multiple times I am pulling aggro despite waiting for the tank to pull, because he is not using flash or threat combo abilities. On a side note the other DPS was a dragoon and he was not using heavy thrust at all.

The tank dies multiple times during trash and boss fights. We end up beating it and right before I leave the healer tells me, the dps "That was unacceptable ninja work on your threat". How about you SIR work on healing your incompetent tank friend and tell him how to use his threat generating abilities. I was pulling off him with auto attacks!

So I just did my EX Roulette for the day, I main PLD. PS Hard, seemed like a pretty average run. Lost aggro to the MNK once mid pull but got it back immediately, about the only noteworthy thing. About 2/3 through the dungeon, the healer goes "Arsain, you know you're pretty much a badass? I don't think you're told that enough." Followed by "You make it (PLD) look fantastic!"

Granted it was just a stranger, but it still feels good. Especially after the insults I get thrown at me from time to time simply for playing PLD instead of WAR or DRK.

I just got done booting a WAR tank who literally thought he was important because he 'just returned to the game.' Was hyper rude about it.

All we did was politely ask if he wouldn't mind passing the Dark Knight sword. XD he didn't even have DRK unlocked. This was in Sohm Al. We kicked him after the second boss and got an FC tank.

you kicked for what reason ? because he didnt want to pass on the dark knight sword ???? tell me I am reading this wrong lol
