What ever happened to FC alliance?

I thought this was supposed to be the way you take a pre-made 24 man alliance into Diadem. You build an alliance of three parties, just like for CT, out of FC members and other players you let into the workshop, then you all go on an airship ride together.

It'd be nice to dive deeper into that idea and expand the player pool, esp the ones in the smaller servers after the mass xfers

If you actually kept a log about everything we were told we would get and how many of those things were actually implemented you would be surprised at how many things mysteriously are never mentioned again. You should have been here for all the promises we got from 1.x > 2.x and how few of them were actually implemented.

I see the live letters as mostly lip service at this point because they know most of us will forget about things as time goes by but they want to make things sound exciting right now.

I would like to see where people got the idea that there would be FC alliances from. Because I can't remember any official sources mentioning it. People started talking about it suddenly, but nobody could cite a source for the information.

Thing is rather than expand the feature, they kept it intact for one brand of content and sabatoged it in diadem. So it raises a question as to why alliances are intentionally clunky.

Having a linkshell shared between 2 FC is easy enough, we've done it with our neighbors. I'd rather they just give us a proper alliance chat outside of CT/Void Ark. Trying to lead a Diadem run with more than one party is awful.
