Healing is a reactive job, and doesn't have any rotation. There are a lot of cooldowns tied to abilities, but again no real set rotation for their use like a DPS has. It's a very different playstyle.
While all healer jobs are reactive, in the sense that you don't use your CDs as often as DPS or tank jobs, Scholar is the only healing job with an actual "active" ability to be used as often as it is up, Aetherflow.
Basically, when you use Aetherflow you get 3 stacks (as of writing this) to use on certain abilities, for Scholars these are mostly healing moves, Lustrate, Sacred Soil, and Indomitability, there is one AoE move, Bane, and one direct damage move, Energy Drain. Basically the way the "rotation" works is, after using Aetherflow you have your stacks and use them as needed for heals or Bane-ing DoTs, but once Aetherflow is back up, you use up the remaining stacks; usually with Energy Drain so that you can regain MP. Then you use Aetherflow again and regain more MP. This is basically the Scholars MP management kit, and its how they can sustain high DPS over the other Healers.
I like helping people with their Job ideas, it's fun to help them visuallize and create the job they'd like to play most. Plus I make my own too, I'll post them eventually.
Healer isn't just like dps where you only need to rotate your skill around.^^
It's all situational and requires reaction and adaptability to the situation.
The only "rotation" you may learn is maybe the SCH dps rotation if your co-healer can solo heal some phase to push dps.
You'll make a fine corpse.
I'll take DPS cool downs if your offering them though \o/
I do agree with the other...
The healer is all about analyse and reaction
Always asking yourself if you need or not more healing power
=> what are the next boss next attacks and what to you need to ease them up
My rotation is usually :
- Precast Shadowflare (usually at 3-2 on the tank pull macro).
- Then Bio II + Bio I for an easy reason, you can drop both in 2.5 sec and they can't miss, so your dps starts instantly.
- Then Miasma + Aero, reapply instantly if they miss. You can also drop Miasma II if you're in melee range only, because moving to range and going back will be an important dps loss.
- Next I spam Broil + energy drain weaved between it until 1st dot starts to fall.
- Reapply then every dot or Shadowflare around 3 seconds before they fall.
- When you're not reapplying dots, spam Broil and if you can afford it Energy Drain weaved between it.
The only problem you might encounter is when miasma or aero miss and you lose a GCD or it mess up your other dots timer.
You'll make a fine corpse.
Sorry I was joking about cooldowns, I do 400+ dps per A3S clear so it's safe to say my dps rotation is pretty solid.
A quick tip that you have wrong there is to clip your dots at 3 seconds except for instacasts.
Your opener should be Shadowflare > Bio 2 > Miasma > Bio > Energy Drain > Aero > Engery Drain > Broil spam + Enery Drain, top up DoTs as needed.
By 3 seconds, I meant start casting at 3 sec for non instant dot, I guess I wasn't precise enough.Sorry I was joking about cooldowns, I do 400+ dps per A3S clear so it's safe to say my dps rotation is pretty solid.

My rotation works pretty okay for me, I can sustain 800+ on faust, depending on miss/crit, guess it's just a matter of habit.
But I'll look it and make some try, it's always nice to have another opinion.
