What's the deal with "new" players just straight up ignoring others in dungeons and continuing to play wrong? This happens every other time i get a low level dungeon. Do they not speak english, are they trolls, or what? It gets really annoying sometimes.

Only happened to me a couple of times, but in those situations I asked them if they're a bot. If they still don't reply anything, I've kicked them. Once someone replied their English isn't good, in which case I just tried to use simpler words and phrases and we got through rest of the dungeon ok.

I've been noticing that its more and more common while leveling 50+ for tanks to not pop any cooldowns what-so-ever but love to try and mass pull. As a healer, you can only do so much.

Been seening this for awile now. Two of the last three daily ex have been like this. Where the dps is incredibly slow, but the tank mass pulls anyway, and I am left spamming cures just to keep him alive, all the way down to oom. At least the last one popped HG once after he facepulled way too much and I got slow on me. But that was tbe only CD I noticed the whole run.

Ran Haukke HM on my WHM with a ninja friend, a paladin and a dragoon. The tank pulled big and ran like mad - big pulls aren't a big deal for me, but please wait for Protect at least ._. Well, he did know his job well enough to not get that much damage, so I could just cast regen and then spam Holy. Everything's fine.

During the last trash packs before the final boss, I spammed Holy as well and used my MP regen. When we reached the final boss I was at ca. 30% MP, no problem, this tank is intelligent enough to wait for my MP before he pulls... oh, he pulled. And my friend wanted to watch the cutscene and thus got locked out. So, here we were, a paladin completely ignoring all adds, a dragoon using his atma weapon, a locked out ninja and myself, a white mage trying everything in his power to keep everyone alive while compensating the lack of one dps in a fight with dps checks without running out of mana while MP regen is on cooldown. Yeah. The fight was so slow and we were so close to wipe, but holy shit, we managed to beat the boss and for a minute or so I felt like the best healer in the world

My guess would be he's trying to work on a relic and was doing it for a book ^^; And normally it'd be fine, but I understand the frustration of the tank pulling without even looking to see if everyone's ready and having to make do with just one dps =/
(And sure, you can run book dungeons unsynched with just one or two friends and do them faster that way, but you don't get any tomes for that, which are in short supply already if you're rushing through relic progress ^^; )

Was healing in Neverreap and my connection went out, during second boss, and the party wiped. They waited and we progressed to the final boss. Dragoon lost connection just in time for the room-wide AoE, but the tank misjudged her position and got knocked off. Tanked the boss with heals, for the next 10 or so minutes, and the dragoon luckily reconnected to help finish up.

Unless something else changed, you can't get Rogue until you get something else to 10 anyways, so it would be entirely possible to go, say...Full tank gear, and have nothing a Rogue can equip.

Until level 15, tank gear is the same as rogue gear.

He indeed was there for his book (the ninja also needed Haukke for his book and the Zodiac quest, but it was just luck, we went there via roulette for this treasure map quest xD) and under normal circumstances the atma weapon would be fully okay (I mean, wouldn't it be stupid of squenix to send us into a dungeon with an underleveled weapon?), but in this moment it was... yeah, challenging ^^'

Quarn, join in progress as DRK. 38! Minutes have passed and they just defeated the first boss.
Whatever... I find out BLM rota is fire2, Ice2, thunder2 so second boss takes very long (DRG and me out of TP but we still beat it) I say nothing and we slowly reach final boss.
No one kills adds at the platforms and after some time the healer dies. I say "kill adds at platform and they will stay dead" and get vote kicked for it. What?

Once I was in Neverland and well...my WHM iLvl was sth around 195 I think... The tank was new, I saw it on his gear...wasn't really good, but well we all start low!
On the first platform we needed like 10minutes...and I tried to heal and not produce too much hate... was a bit hard but worked... On the second stage the tank probably thought he can tank them all...and made a BIG pull....
Only thought in my brain: uff.

He died. I died. DD's died... Happens...
He goes back. There was me and him... and he starts pulling without waiting for the DD's....
I told him to stop, and wait....
I also asked for smaller pulls because I get too much hate.
Then his friend (one of the DD's) said: "Shut up. *insert random name* is a really good tank! It's your fault"
Then I was kicked....

Later I did this dungeon with a low gear Tank from my FC and it worked fine....

I've been to hell, and it is tanking Toto Rak for a healer friend with 2 pug MCH that just discovered their Blank Shot.
