So I ran "The Praetorium" the only day. Once the duty started, (everyone has loaded and everything) I noticed no one was moving for a few seconds so I (PLD) start running off. Once I died from a Sac pull and returned, I noticed the other tank (WAR) still there. I scroll back just to make sure if he said anything and nope, nothing. Once I get to the first boss, I noticed the WAR there. We kill the boss and move on. When to get to the Magitek Mount bit, again I noticed his name, unhighlighted. At that point, I told the party to kick the WAR cuz he wasn't doing jack. I found it funny that he try to get by, thinking that we wouldn't know he wasn't with the group.

Was on my Ast and Just had a tank in the Aery lvl 55 Drk who Tanked nidhogg on top of Estinien and refused to move him and kept cleaving him with breath almost wiping us x-x

As far as I remember, you can't progress in main story (an unlock sastasha) until you finish a quest, that forces you to have level 5 gear for most of your left side. So this was probably just troll?

Unless something else changed, you can't get Rogue until you get something else to 10 anyways, so it would be entirely possible to go, say...Full tank gear, and have nothing a Rogue can equip.

Suppoesedly healers get yelled at by tanks for doing damage? All I do in DF is tank and I never once encountered anything like that. Nobody dying is a victory man.

Honestly, all he would have needed to do was follow you and pretend to be useful by hitting things and he probably wouldn't have been kicked. It takes no effort at all. The silliness of people who wait at the start baffles me.

One from earlier...

So I'm levelling DRG, currently at 57, queued up for The Vault. After 30+ minutes, it finally pops! Party composed of PLD, WHM, BLM and myself.

I say "Hello!" at the beginning and get no reply - but oh well, some people don't like being social so that's fair enough.

We get to the first pack of enemies, and the PLD decides he only wants to focus on tanking one enemy, tosses a Flash at the start but as BLM and myself are using AOE, we end up tanking too. This happens for every trash pack throughout the dungeon...

But I just grin and bear it. Healer was coping well enough anyway... We get past the first boss, no real issues.

Get up to the 2nd boss and that's where the real "fun" begins. >_>

Every single Faith Unmoving, the PLD is getting knocked into the rifts and gaining more and more vulnerability debuff... he ends up with 8 stacks before the healer just couldn't keep him up anymore despite his best efforts. BLM died twice during this too.
So the inevitable wipe happens.

After the wipe, I ask "so... you guys know the strategy for this guy?". No reply for a good minute or so, then the PLD just says "yup." So I figured they just needed a reminder, first wipe being said reminder, no big deal!

We go straight into round 2, and the same thing happens... PLD is constantly getting knocked back into the vulnerability debuff, BLM dies, healer is trying desperately to keep the fight going, I'm hitting my buttons like a madman trying to pump out enough DPS to get him down.

Nope, wipe again. Healer leaves. PLD just says "wtf". Clearly him and the BLM didn't know the strategy... despite him saying otherwise... if you don't know, just say, no one will attack you for it! :/

I leave too, in a grumpy mood... cursing my insanely long queues and bad luck...

I've been noticing that its more and more common while leveling 50+ for tanks to not pop any cooldowns what-so-ever but love to try and mass pull. As a healer, you can only do so much.

This just happened a bit ago, but it's definitely not the first time...
Queue sastasha in progress as healer. GLD is new, only uses Riot Blade, skill that replenishes MP, instead of Savage Blade, skill that increases enmity. Also, he hardly ever uses flash. I try to explain to him what skills to use, and what the role of a tank is. Never get any response, he just keeps doing his own thing. What's the deal with "new" players just straight up ignoring others in dungeons and continuing to play wrong? This happens every other time i get a low level dungeon. Do they not speak english, are they trolls, or what? It gets really annoying sometimes.
