Why would you nerf the most potent Enkindle?
Hits with a potency of 200 with a 20 potency DOT for 15 seconds.
20 x 5 = 100 + 200 = 300 potency.

To make them all uniform, so it's easier to implement, mostly.
Outright changing the potency of all from 200 to 300 could also work (with no DoT).
Another possibility would be to make it so Garuda-Egi's Enkindle (as well as every other new Egi) had a DoT associated to it, as well as reducing its potency from 250 to 200...but it'd be a bit too much work to make an "exclusive" DoT for every single one introduced from there.
At least IMO.

The last thing Egi's need is homogenization. I, for one, am glad that there is a difference between Garuda and Ifrit's Enkindle. To make them all uniform, so it's easier to implement, mostly.

Garuda is ranged. The damage is lower than the other two on purpose.
