I have a question though. If PLD and DRK must use MP to activate their stances, why doesn't Warrior use TP to switch between their own? Honest question here.

Recast time like Reynhart said, but also Warrior does not get instant benefit of it's tank stance when it swaps to Defiance. The +25% HP increase first needs to be healed for a Warrior to fully benefit from it's tank stance. Pld/Drk should always have a higher cost going into it's tank stance versus a Warrior, but it is also too much of a cost imo atm.

On this note, I don't care if Warrior gets nerfed, or whatever. But I do agree it is too well built as a class, so I don't see why the other tanks shouldn't get the same treatment.

Probably not. Both of the fights mentioned in this thread(Ravana EX and Thordan EX) have significant enough periods of downtime that TP drain shouldn't become an issue.

Meeting the Dps check might be tricky for the Pld's though. It's hard to say. They have the easiest OT rotation (1 Goring Blade > 2 Royal Authorities >repeat), but they do the least dmg. Still, that's a crap ton of DoTs, and without the ridiculous Dmg inhibition from ShO their RA has a fairly decent combo potency. Not to mention the fact that Pld's CD's are made for fights like Thor Ex, so the healer should have the easiest time healing them over the other two Tanks.

It's an interesting idea. I'm honesty curious about whether or not a full Pld group can meet the Dps checks and at what average item lvl.

I tried doing this on Jenova before it got put on the DF but the other 6 DRKs I got weren't that great and not a single PLD joined the PF :/

Seems like I may have to try again...finding STR PLDs is gonna be rough tho :/
