Since we have an Ala Mihgo thread, I thought I'd make one for these countries.
The only thing I am aware of with Thavnair is their interesting mistle toe description and the beautiful vanity gear released.
What are your thoughts, peeps?

Thavnaria being a an arcipeligo interests me, as does the fact it is really close to Garlen borders but Garlemauld hasn't tried to conquer them.
Othard is interesting as far as Far Eastern Culture and Doma goes, but the Northern Contenent interests me more.
I think Ala Migo and Thavnaria my end up being 4.0's expantion area as Ala Migo and Xelphatol are the last two regions of Eorzea. So being as Ocean Travel was passed on for Air Ships, Then The Thavnarian Archipeligo is likly where we'd go with boats. Could see it working simmilar to The Diadem.
I really want to visit the near east. I think it'd be fun.
Jalzahn is from there, maybe when we finally get to go he'l get to go home XD

Clearly, the best Final Fantasy character is Locke Cole.

I'm not at all interested in Doma, but otherwise I don't have strong feelings for any of them and wouldn't mind visiting or having an expansion there.
We also know that :
F'Lhamin & Hoary Boulder went to Thavnair
So we might go there soon (4.0) or hear about it sooner.

After the AST Quest, and Dravanian Hinterlands what i really want to see is Sharlayan, Othard (Doma) come at second, Ala Mihgo I don't care about them and Thavnair I need more informantion about them so they can pick my interests.
Or ala mhigo turn out to be the next city, or is going to be like hinterlands/sharlayan( A city state that is full of mobs )
Without knowing more about the region, it's hard to get interested in Thavnair. Jalzhan is the only Thanvnairian we've met, and while he's a pretty cool guy, that doesn't tell us anything about the area. Is there any information on Thavnair?
Doma... ehh. It's fantasy Feudal Japan. Or was, until Garlemald conquered it. If we went there there would be a culture shock, but after that gets adjusted to it'd be back to business as usual.
The Othardian Steppe, however, we don't know much about beyond little bits that can be gleaned from the various Xaela tribes' blurbs. That does sound like an interesting place to visit, as a Mongolia analogue isn't exactly the type of place fantasy games typically go.
Apropos of nothing, I was slightly starstruck when I ran into Moose-senpai in Dzmael Darkhold earlier today. Or yesterday. Time's weird when you do night shifts. He didn't notice me, though.

I was thinking how this fit whit the Garlean trying to conquest all Othard, since they conquested Doma, maybe they are trying to conuest the all the continent and looks like all the tribes is in a big warring state, being crushed by a powerfull Empire seems a thing to happen or maybe they will form a big temporary alliance to fight against the Empire.

I'd love to know more about the Othardian Steppes. My character might be a Raen but she's a refugee and was taken in by the only Xaela tribe who accepts them, the Malaguld.
Thavnair seems cool too, but I don't know why in my mind it'd be similar to Thanalan...
