good luck leveling armorer, its horrible. i crafted for 3 hrs lastnight and got 2 levels, crafting an item 4 ranks higher, and mat prices are ridiculous.

"Your" is possessive. "You're" means you are.
Why would you only craft something 4 ranks higher than your level? I regularly craft 8-10 ranks higher.
Not bad I guess, but that's why it takes you hours to rank up. Get the training and rock out 8 ranks above ya at a lot higher SP.
Actually, come to think of it, you don't need the training to do this. I don't have any armorer training at all, and I regularly succeed on crafts 8-10 ranks higher than my char's level. Maybe 4/5 success rate.
Or buy yourself some company manuals; that's a great way to speed up a bit.
i leveled weaver to 32 making items 8 ranks above me, no leve has given me guild marks yet. but back on topic, make sure you have fullfillment(10 lw) preserve(10 alch) makers muse(10 bs) as these will all help you level. Not bad I guess, but that's why it takes you hours to rank up. Can even go to 45 with cotton bolls! 45-50 is a bit more expensive but still manageable. One downside is how much inventory space the final products take. Where as ARM is all stackable, its great.
Also, ARM goes from 20 to 50 on iron squares (nuggets) and buffalo straps. If you think iron squares and buffalo straps are expensive . . . I honestly dont know what to tell you.
I just can't make the same item over and over for 20 ranks. Have to do other stuff, even if it's less cost effective.
