I believe the correct definition of Red Mage is "Jack of all Trades, Master of Enfeebling magic"

which we have a small issue with at the moment, in that most of the +49 mobs are immune to a lot of the enfeebs eg BLM - sleep which is pretty much useless after lvl 49

If SE are going to put a Magic welding paper tank into the game i would rather it be Rune Fencer
while I would love to see RDM as DPS, i fear that SE will make it a healer/support Job

anyone got ideas for RDM that are not overpowered or break the trinity system (in that the job conforms to 1 of the three roles and not all of them) that are true to RDM?
i would love to see what SE have in mind.
