I've had my retainers come back and gotten a water crystal from both of them(and singly a few times too). It's the only type I've ever gotten, so I'm guessing for whatever reason the other elements aren't in the quick venture loot pool.

The opposite happens with my Lalafell Botonist retainer. No accessories, all his equipment is just the basic level 46 gear you buy in Mor Dhona, brings me stuff like Titans Heart, a Crag heart once, some Mog weapons, and I think a Garuda feather once.

My retainer scares me.

Hah. My retainer brought me a single thunder shard the other day. I got excited somewhat for half a second, because I thought it might be one of the crafting materials from the Diadem trade ins. I mean really, who would seriously think that they would put shards as retainer loot, much less as single items?

Bad luck I suppose. My retainers ALWAYS seem to get me gear from ilvl 70 to 110, sometimes primal weapons, allagan materials, etc.

I've had quite the mix. Yesterday my retainer brought me back a la noscean perch (oh boy, 1 gil pls!) But same said retainer has also brought me mog daggers... (why you hurtin mah precious fluffy moogles?!) Guess she's got some hit or miss days.

So wish I could have done that when pre-HW, my i120 mnk retainer brought me a couple of bronze allagan pieces.
