No. That's why our cash shop is nice and does not hinder our core experience. All the crap are being sold which I really do not care to buy. Most of us at least. The ones who likes them and buy do not break our experience. There are enough mounts in the game already and more are coming. As for the colors well now they are obtainable in game too. I really think our shop is nice and not intrusive.

I wasnt talking about the shop being intrusive, the shop is fine, i just think that developers should be rewarded for their work. That is not work, its a recolor, a quick way to make money without effort.

I have nothing against people who want to spend their own money and enjoy things. Heck, I bought the White Devil mount. But I took time to think about it and I think it sets a dangerous precedent within the cash shop. Despite what you might think, players making complaints sometimes do so with decent justification.

As I said in my previous post - I'm all for the cash shop existing, and I'm all for SE making money. I just think they need to be careful how they set it up. It can quickly get the entire playerbase to turn on them (even people who like the cash shop) if they start pricing things exorbitantly / setting mounts and stuff to be single character only. The reason that this situation is a problem is because of how blatant of a cash grab it feels. Like - its not even a fully reskinned horse mount like the Sleipnir mount is, it's simply a different paint job and a new mount song for $12 for a single character. On top of the Scion gear, which is really expensive since most of it is in-game crafted gear with the aetherial goggles attached. Minfilia's outfit and hairstyle are the only ones that are legitimately unique, and even then they're charging $15 for it when it's a 1-piece set.

There's nothing wrong with them wanting to run a cash shop, but I do think they need to be wary of price creeping on glamour items. ESPECIALLY glamour items that took very little effort or work to create.

If people still want to buy it, that's fine, they don't deserve to be mocked or scorned for buying things they like and can afford - I'm just looking at it from the perspective of "How badly will this reflect on SE and the dev team."

SE was playing this recolor game the other way around many times btw. at least i was buying the collectors edition and am a little pissed they brought recolored version free into the game from the stuff i payed for...

Coeurl (pay for the 2.0 collectors edition) -> War Panther (free recolor version ingame from dark knight achievments)
Fat Chocobo (pay for the 2.0 collectors edition) -> Parade Chocobo (free recolor version ingame for 3000 player commendations achievment)
Baby Behemoth (pay for the 2.0 collectors edition) -> Behemoth Heir (free recolor version ingame wich you can buy for hunt seals)
Twintania (recruit some "friends" and let them pay for the game and subscription) -> Wyvern (free recolor version ingame wich you can buy for hunt seals)

at least now they bring first the free version and the recolored version is the thing you have to pay for...

but still: what are they doing with the money? patches are lackluster and far away from every 3 months... 2.5, 3.0, 3.1 is all we got this year. we are missing a whole patch, so we are 3 months behind.

Sadly the "useless" part of protesting is when people don't care and think they don't matter it's like the guy who doesn't vote saying his vote wouldn't change anything anyways.

Sadly enough this is exactly how some people feel me included. I live in the US and voting time happens next year. But I won't vote for this exact reason.
