Took me fewer hours than i initially expected, many thanks for all your help, doing all these sidequests helped me a lot, especially the Black Mage one, which was worth it in the end.

Is it a viable option to level up through dungeons and the main storyline? The side quests tend to be a bit boring and i find dungeons, loot and killing big stuff more fun, as well as the good storyline so far.

That should be workable. Personally I think you will miss a lot of interesting stuff by not doing the sidequests, but that is just my opinion. Do note however that sometimes it can take some time to find people to run a dungeon with.
