I have traded massive amounts of gil to my wife who then in turn gave it to my alt for a guild house. I would like to know who else has been banned by doing a legitimate exchange such as myself.

Wait getting banned for this is a thing! I'll be moving my main to a new server in teh coming days and because i can't take my gil with me, and I can't find a single thing that isn't cheaper on the server I'm moving to, I was going to get a friend to help me transfer my gil to my alt that is remaining on Sarg.
I could end up getting banned for this ?
I can't really say for certain on that, but I have heard rumors and stories of some players being flagged when they move around/obtain a lot of gil in a short amount of time.Wait getting banned for this is a thing! I wouldn't worry too much. I've traded large sums of gil around my Free Company and Square had me change my password before logging in shortly thereafter (I assume as a built in safeguard in case your account was hacked), but a password change was the end of it. Businesses, as a general rule, want to make money and a ban effectively ends the money making, so its unlikely they will ban someone without proper cause.Wait getting banned for this is a thing! A true paladin... will sheathe his sword.

Ah, If a GM wanted to talk to about that i'd be more than happy to explain my reasons, hell they can even watch and see it's legit. Most of the gil I've ammased is from dungeon crawling so it's hard earned over the years I've been playingI wouldn't worry too much. I looked at allagan coins and clear demimateria all of which on the sarg market boards tend to be around 3 times the vendor resale rate.
