Master Crafter is there way make master crafting items without having millions of gil

I have weaver with master 3 and I cannot make the items because I do not have the stats. I have ramie gear , but unless i spend a fortune on gear and materia I will never get beyond this point. I wondered why crafting is made so difficult, and expensive, where the emphasis is made more on how much gil you have rather than skill as gamer. There is no way round spending millions on gear that I can see unless i have missed something.
Red scripts ..also difficult and prolongued. All I see in guides is get these stats etc need this gear ..the gear is maybe 2mil a piece last time I looked. I see it as a problem with design. Frustrating to lvl you crafting only to be stumped by lack of gil.

Yea, level up your gathering classes and get all the mats you need yourself. As for Materia, go do diedem.

But coming from someone that thought 1million gil was alot not long ago, it really won't cost that much if you go for the absolute MIN req which is what I did. Think it cost me 1.6m? Gil just makes your life easier, I did everything myself, I gather it and craft it all myself. Not to mention if you level all of your crafters, you can literally sell most of the materia to buy the lower tier you need.

Money = convenience... If you don't got the cash, your doing it the long way then.

If you have the ramie gear
It means you have the level 55 set
Which is good to go to level 60 but you will have trouble doing lv60 récupérer

Either go to the blue script 58 step or try to do your own 60 stuff (you have the master book)
Switching from 55 to 60 will be a great addition.
I hope you have your other crafter 60 and all book.

Once you have all 60 set red script will be easier and you could start gearing with i180

(Point 1) I checked your profile and found the following:
    CRP 55
    BSM 0
    ARM 1
    GSM 50
    LTW 50
    WVR 60
    ALC 60
    CUL 23

My first impression was, "OMG, she doesn't even have Steady Hand II! And no Ingenuity II as well... which makes things very difficult." It is quite important to get BSM to 50 and CUL to 37 if you want more power in your crafting beyond level 50 for any class. I highly recommend you go back to CUL and BSM for SH II and Ingen2. Keep in mind that even ARM's level 50 skill Piece by Piece is quite useful even for 2 star crafting in case you intend to go that far.

(Point 2) Since you're not a billionaire when you started Heavensward, it's quite important to level ALL classes together (including DoL classes, and continuously use ventures to level your retainers), so you can make all your own gear along the way without buying. Retainers will provide most of the mats you need for free as well. I see that you have level 60 Miner and 57 BTN. I hope you have been training your retainers hard, because they can really help out a lot with mats.

Luckily you made the right choices with CRP and WVR. Now all you need is LTW, and you can make most of the lvl 60 initial end-game gear for your WVR and ALC (make sure you use Steady hand II).

(Point 3) When I was leveling, I had no problem making anything HQ at all using my i60 gear. They were melded nicely, but I believe your level 55 Ramie gear should not be anything weaker than that. I can only assume you have very limited CP due to not-up-to-date accessories... which you can easily help yourself with your lvl 55 CRP. Lightly meld them with Cunning III will also help.

(Point 4) Have you been using CP food? It's a very common practice now for us to use CP food for any crafting, especially when Stone Soup is only 37 gil each.

(Point 5) Adept's Gown is available at level 58 by purchasing with blue scrips, and it's a great item as a "Stepping Stone" for making the Chimerical gear in your master recipe. I do not recommend the other Adept's gear though. I only recommend the chest.

(Point 6) Lastly, it is also possible that your rotation is not optimized as well. But let's assume you're fine with it for now. Need that Ingen2 and SH II first anyway.

There is ABSOLUTELY NO NEED to use i180 gear to craft HQ i150 Chimerical Felt gear. You should be able to do so with level 58 Adept's Gown, and a few pieces of level 55 gear, together with the use of Baked Onion Soup HQ (another reason to level your CUL).

If there are some points which you have trouble understanding, please let me know. I'll elaborate.

I remember about 2 years ago when I "Broke the Bank" spending my 6 mil I saved to Materia-up. haha I just checked my blog, it was almost EXACTLY 2 years ago. There are so many more options these days to collect your own materials and make gil.

One decent way I found, if you have Leves sitting around unused, is to do the ARM Leve in Saint Coinnach's Find for the Cobalt Ingots. Quick Synth those things while wearing the vendor-bought crafting gear in order th SB it. When you have the stuff SB'd, start to hand in the Ingots you have created.

If you have a source for the Cobalt Ore (I'd have to double check to see if the Mining retainer can retrieve these for you) you can make money and make crafting Materia for your higher level gear at the same time.
