Yeah, to me it seems like a harmful interpretation of the forum community as a whole, since there are a lot of concerns being brought up. Just throws more fuel on the "NA forums are largely ignored by devs" fire. The one community guy was like he loves reading the forums about people reactions about how this is cool or that is cool. Are they reading the same forums everyone is? Majority of the posts seem negative such as saying it just the same content repackaged or that SE doesn't know what the player base wants. Positive posts seem far and few.

From what I understood, I thought that there were also concerns/issues in the JP forums as well? It sounds like perhaps SE largely ignores fans in general, unless something a fan brings up is in line with what they were already thinking, or is an easy fix. It reminds me of that silly quest they made where you could talk to dev NPCs, and the Yoshi one had that big speech about not wanting to redo the mistakes of the past, but they're sure not learning from that because it sounds like still ignoring a lot of the players and putting up a nice curtain (or banhammer) around it as if they hope it'll go away.
Acknowledge your fans' concerns SE, not just their praises. It'll go a long way towards making them feel that they're actually being heard.
