a lot of people pick up his strategy and a lot of his information is passed off as fact - despite his best efforts - to avoid that. He gets guides up fast which is good for the community, but I've just got a habit of watching -none- of his videos because of it.

I don't think he's bad - but I think his video's as far as guides go are the weakest compared to everyone else I prefer.

Not really. I know it's a bias - but it's a bias I have, and it's a matter of principal. I'm not gonna watch on his stream because that gives him income - and I dont' support people I dont' support. As far as my logic goes, that reasoning is simple enough.

So that's your reason, based on principle? I get it if you don't think his videos are as fleshed out as you want them to be (which I disagree, his Thor Ex was simple and straight to the point, as well as his Savage videos), and maybe I get how it may irk you that some consider his strategies as flagship. But wtf, what's the correlation between that and watching a twitch stream because he's in it? You sound petty at this point, have fun self limiting yourself.

Edit: I just saw your above post. I'm a retail manager, and I get plenty of customers who talk and think like you. I'm trying not to generalize you with my own personal experience, it's just those people tend to have very limited mindsets that come off as ignorant. Food for thought man.

hrhappy is partnered on twitch so he get money based on the views he gets, the stream might not be about him but it his channel so any money that twitch pays out will go to hrhappy not SE or the community team. I think that what they are pointing out if I read his other post correctly.

What's wrong with Mr Happy?

When I first started playing FFXIV, I didn't know much, and he seemed like "the" guy when it came to FFXIV. I tried watching his stream. Tuned in to what was basically 10-15 mins of him whining about something or other. At some point his mother (who sounds like a nice lady) came into his room. She found a bag of chips or cookies at the store and got them for him. As soon as she left the room he started griping about the chips and how they sucked and he didn't even want them.

I never tuned in again.
