Big shout out to group who were doing Gilgamesh earlier, Battle in the Big Keep!

People were turning into chickens and someone said "Hmmm... green cocks." Hell broke loose and people started dying of laughter.

Also I would like to thank the AST in that group who had the healer body from EX roulette dungeons who I made strip because I've been looking for that body so long.

Run Haukke manor on my paladin, get a dragoon who pulls the first boss before me. I ask them why they did that, but don't recieve an answer. After the boss is dead I tell them that they're gonna tank whatever they pull during the rest of the run. They pulled the second trash group after the first boss again, I say "okay" and sit down, and the healer refuses to heal anyone. The dragoon (and also the new summoner unfortunately, they didn't do anything wrong) die, get a rezz and I pick up the enemies. I hope the dragoon learned their lesson and move on, and indeed no more pulls... And then they pull the final boss. I turn on my heels and leave the room, the healer joins me, dragoon and summoner manage to drop the boss' HP below 40% before they die. I start a votekick against the dragoon, it's rejected (wtf), the very same thing happens two more times before I get the dragoon kicked. A level 43 pugilist joins (double wtf), we finish off the boss, I thank (and love ) the healer for sticking with me and apologize to the summoner for the three wipes and the fact their deaths were collateral damage.

Ran Sohm Al as SMN. Tank couldn't hold threat on more than one mob. I kindly tell him he should be flashing between his threat generation combo and he replies "Don't worry about it"...

Dont worry about it? I worry that my casts are being interrupted and I have to sit here doing your job.

He then says "It's difficult to hold threat against mages". What kind of excuse is that?

Tank then sits there for 5 minutes before pulling the boss. Sits for 5 minutes after the boss. The entire run took 50 minutes because he was just sitting there most of the time.

Unless you had titan out (but even if you did, then titan would be taking the aggro, not you). I can understand losing threat for a sec and then recovering (why we have provoke). Honestly though, if i was in your shoes, I probably would of just pulled out titan and said screw it. Let my summon do the job you can't.

I'm fairly new and still working the MSQ. I queue up for Levi HM as SCH. Load in, say, "Hi, I'm new here." just to give people a heads up. MT immediately pulls saying "there's no mechanics just burn it." I'm all like really? >.> <.< ?? Okay, whatever. Shieldin' Healin' DPSin'...

Suddenly the entire party is dead. My reaction: O.O

Me: I thought there were no mechanics?
MT: There aren't.
Me: >.> <.< ??
MT: Pulls again. This time no wipe. Clear.
Me: Dafuq just happened? Oh well, whatevs...Still don't know what the mechanics are

I just wanna say... just 'cause titan pulsl threat, doesn't mean he's pushing 'dps numbers'... but it might just be that you were suggesting Titan would be holding threat and I misunderstood you. Just wanna make sure you don't think he pulls threat because of DPS. <_< He's a tank pet.

With that fight, there's really only one mechanic to worry about. There will be Gyre Spumes (or w/e they're called) that you have to kill. You will then be able to erect a barrier to avoid the high damage from Tidal Wave. That's pretty much it for levi hard mode. Though, it is good to know the mechanics of HM as it's forgiving. In Ex you can get knocked off.

And yes, i meant use titan to pull threat if the tank is failing to hold it. If titan pulls threat, it means that the SMN hopefully isn't getting hit and that's what i was pointing at. By no means was I saying titan makes up for any DPS xD Sorry for the confusion. I just meant that I could see titan pulling the aggro off, but if that was the case, then the SMN shouldn't of been getting attacked.

BLM's on the otherhand can push out so much dmg they can steal threat fairly quickly as well as with their AoE's on top of it. From my knowledge, I don't think it's easy for a SMN (the actual SMN, not their pet) to pull aggro unless the tank is just doing a god awful job. In which case, that's why i was mentioning titan being used.

I was doing Roullete ex whit my friends, used draw and got a Spire, look at the tp of everyone, one people have 0 TP, use spire on him and start to feel proud,boss battle end.
Me: Hey! Friend Why your tp was 0?
Friend: I sprinted to avoid a AoE, but isn't a problem I'm a SMN.
I laughed a lot after this.

For your information:
Mages attack the head, bards and machinists attack the tail, melees can attack anything - you as SCH attack the head (if you attack). Kill all the adds that appear as fast as possible. Then there's some converter (don't know the exact english name) which needs to load up - if it's ready and Leviathan dives, you activate that thing and cast your aoe shield. There aren't many mechanics but if you ignore them... well you've seen the outcome. And that tank was an idiot, end of story.

Thank you both. I try not to be an idiot in DF even when I'm new (especially when I feel like I pulled seven other players into old content for me), so the experience just kinda made me feel like I was being carried. I don't like that feeling. Now, if I run it again, I'll feel like I'm contributing in a meaningful way.
