I don't raid at all in HW. Aside from Primals EX. I cleared all of Coil pre echo and have no desire to do the exact same thing again.

When I say casuals. As I said, I mean the Bejewelled, Flappy Bird, Angry Birds, Minecraft crowd. Those casuals. The pay microtransactions for everything, to unlock some special little thing, instant gratification crowd. The ones who just want to log in and be like "Look at me I'm a shiny bad ass guy with a sword. I dont give a damn about Final Fantasy lore or lolelitesttooltips

I don't care what you think you mean; you are clearly on the war path and blaming [bold]your[/bold] problems on other players. Not only is it unlikely that Angry Birds players are playing FFXIV, it's near inconceivable that they are the ones driving the direction of the game. FFXIV's devs are following the massively successful WoW model, and it seems to be working. If you have a problem with that, address it. Complaining that filthy casuals are ruining your game is the best way to end up on the ignore list.

Or, you know, you could cancel your subscription and go play something else where you won't be bothered by casuals.

WoW has actually been failing so using it as the basis for a successful model is a mistake.

WoW has been consistently losing subs since WotLK. Since they scrapped skill trees, individuality, challenging content and basically anything that may be too complex for a 12 year old.

This game forces me to save the world or do other kill/save stuff all the time and I enjoy looking good while running through the world multiple times to do it

I'm not that dedicated to do the ultimate challenge contet I prefer crafting, gatering, trying to get rich(unsuccessfull here lol) getting mad over lalafel voices(no offense here) and glamour.
I'd try to finish Final Coil but it's pretty much dead therefore what other choices do I have?
