Id rather see more options for faces and customization for characters than glamour.
Cause I can say faces are severely lacking, I would want a new running animation also, if elezen male had a run animation like Ra Au and some new faces I would be a elezen.
I mean some customization would be nice.

You can solo FATES. The MSQ, with the exception of a few dungeons, is solo based. Crafting and gathering is fully solo content. Lots of the end game side quests are solo based. All job quests are solo based. What exactly do you want? Group-based content is a staple to persistent world MMOs, Diablo 3 may be more what you're looking for.
As a former FFXI player, I would love any of those. I'm not saying I want this game to be FFXI HD, like so many people accuse others of when they bring up stuff like this. But really, I would love if Diadem was more like XI's "Sky". I've seen a few others mention that as well.
But time really does factor into a lot of things and in different ways. Again with raids, I feel like they aren't worth my time/the effort for such the short duration the gear lasts. Others probably wouldn't like "Sky" because killing things to pop more things to kill, to pop the boss, might feel redundant to them, and so not worth their time.
I do agree and share your frustration. But I think I gave up on hoping for content like that. So I just make-do. The "silly" things are enough to keep me entertained for a while until the next patch.
Hunts aren't over world bosses. Hunts are over world HP soaking sponges that spawn after a set time limit.
I'm talking forcibly spawned monsters, with a rare drop/key item/quest item.
Diadem is not an open world dungeon. Its just an overly large dungeon itself. There are tons of little caves, and doors and things all over that look like they should go some where but they don't go any where.
Theres mines that are sealed off.
Why not have entire subterranean zones? PS3 limitations? Phase it, problem solved.
A materia system that would offer benefits such as increased MP/HP/TP regen is just one example of meaningful materia changes.
Alex Savage. Why would I bother clearing Savage when I've already done normal mode. There is no story behind Savage. The rewards are basically exactly the same. I've already cleared Coil pre echo. Why would I want to bash my head into my keyboard for gear that will just become completely useless in 3 months.
I don't care what you think you mean; you are clearly on the war path and blaming [bold]your[/bold] problems on other players. Not only is it unlikely that Angry Birds players are playing FFXIV, it's near inconceivable that they are the ones driving the direction of the game. FFXIV's devs are following the massively successful WoW model, and it seems to be working. If you have a problem with that, address it. Complaining that filthy casuals are ruining your game is the best way to end up on the ignore list.I don't raid at all in HW. Aside from Primals EX. I cleared all of Coil pre echo and have no desire to do the exact same thing again.
When I say casuals. As I said, I mean the Bejewelled, Flappy Bird, Angry Birds, Minecraft crowd. Those casuals. The pay microtransactions for everything, to unlock some special little thing, instant gratification crowd. The ones who just want to log in and be like "Look at me I'm a shiny bad ass guy with a sword. I dont give a damn about Final Fantasy lore or lolelitesttooltips
Or, you know, you could cancel your subscription and go play something else where you won't be bothered by casuals.
What part of "ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu
R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn" don't you understand?

I doubt that the flappy bird casuals are the sole representatives of glamour and minion usage. If you have a point to make, taking a more diplomatic tone can get you further. More on topic; I'd rather read about fashion suggestions than the centuries old complaining fad about bad dps and watching cs. Even when I disagree with the suggestions. If you find the topics here so off putting, there's plenty of other sections on these forums you could migrate to.

Sorry but FATEs are garbage.
The MSQ is a one shot that gets a couple updates every few months.
Crafting and gathering is not combat and not what most people find enjoyable in an RPG.
Job quests, again, one shot, absurdly easy, no repeatability, no challenge.
I'm talking solo dungeons. Solo bosses. Challenging meaningful content.
Group based content is a staple of MMO games but it is not the entirety of it. Because when 99% of the games playerbase is too incompetent to do said content, group content becomes impossible.
EG I have not cleared Ravana EX in over a month and a half now, in 100 attempts because people in PF (those who couldn't clear it when it came out) are the left behind scrubs who just can't learn.
