Esos, Diadem and hating yourself.

So this has happened twice now...the day after 3.1 I got SCH hat, replaced it three hours later in Diadem. Got a belt today - replaced it in 2 hours.

Thanks Diadem. Getting an upgrade never felt so infuriating.

Anyone else experiencing this kind of hate and uselessness towards Esos?

No, because my understanding is eso gear is still superior long term due to being able to use materia in 3.2 where Diadem gear will not. My WHM therefore focuses solely on eso equipment while my DRG when level 60 will use Diadem and Void Ark as an interim means to gear up. The thing that frustrates me are the lockouts and caps, because you really only can support one, maybe two mains, as well as twiddling your thumbs all week once you cap, but that's another topic.

I never spend my Esos/capped tomes until Monday for this very reason. I remember Final Coil where I got the Ironworks Feet for NIN after several T10s where the Dreadwyrm Scouting Boots never dropped. Guess what dropped that night?

Edit note: They never said 'current raid gear' will have material slots, and I find it highly unlikely it will. Why? Because the gear isn't balanced around it and why bother adding it? The new gears, sure, but the current tier? Doubtful

And the belt was upgraded to i210. Still replaced.
