I started as a sun cat. Thought the odd eyes and freckles were cute.


3.0
I, like many others, went Au Ra. Changed about 3 times just as Au Ra, was never happy with any Au Ra I made.





Got kinda tired of that, so I went back to sun cat for a (very brief) time:



And now I'm moon cat. Definitely a lot, lot happier with how she looks and besides some hair/tattoo changes, I think I'll be sticking with this look for quite a while.

I'm boring, I've kept Enki the same race/clan, gender, body size/skintone/hairstyle/haircolour right through from version 1.0 through ARR's Alpha and Beta, and now into ARR (the only thing I changed was I fixed a mistake I'd made when creating her in 1.0 concerning a confusion with Eorzea's odd calendar in setting her nameday). But I'm so attached to her appearance I just can't bear to change it! (And given the fact I'm always getting people compliment me on her appearance I must have done something right then!).

But anyway, I may as well show how Enki has been depicted from the beginning, including her Vana'dielian counterpart.... (pics coming)

I don't have a pictures displaying my characters evolution, but it went a little like this...

I may have a problem. It's a lot spread over a long period of time, but I can never decide because there are parts of each race i find incredibly derpy.

Thinking back, there have been quite a few steps to my character's growth:

- My very first character screenshot - (Beta3)
Newbie Adventurer that just controlled his first pet: Emerald Carbuncle. Brown eyes with Light brown short hair and a Tattoo.




- Aspiring Crafter - (2.1)
A bit into the game, I decided to lighten up the hair a bit and turn his eyes blue.




- A Tankless Job - (2.3)
The moment he picked up tanking, he was in for trouble. Scars and even lighter hair. The tattoo also lightened up.




- Zenith - (2.4)
With a lot of experience down, things got out of hand. Even lighter hair and eye color + eyepatch.




- Symbolic Wedding(?) - (Time unknown?)
Well - I always said that the Solace FC spirits married on this day. I can't really say much about that :')




- Growing up - (2.5+)
Mature look with grown hair and older looking face. The Tattoo vanished, so did the light eye color.




- A new Heroine? - (early 3.0)
At the beginning of 3.0, a new heroine took over for the new Adventures in Ishgard! She still looks very insecure.




- Lightning Returns - (3.0 after Story)
After the story of the new heroine, the main character reappeared. Mature look remained with new Ishgardian flair.




- Inter-mission - (somewhere during 3.0)
Was quite fun to find out that I looked like derplander with a hairstyle/color change only. I totally didn't know what would happen in 3.1 at that time...




- Summertime -(3.0 Moonfire faire)
During late Summer, the Au'Ra heroine makes a short appearence with a now more sexy look to show that she's growing too!




- Back to the roots - (late 3.0)
After a while, the main character reappears with his old fashioned look.




- As goes light... - (3.1)
And that's my current me and I actually look forward to the next evolution steps!

I'm one of those people who generally think Midlanders can't look good because they always look derpy and kind of..off.
But wow, thank you for proving me wrong

Also, I really like how natural the evolution of scars went

Although they are all fantasia's I see all of my designs as separate characters and entities, each of them did different types of quests and have experienced Eorzea in different ways (they all have their own backstory too). When all the instance quests say "BRING A GROUP OF ADVENTURERS WITH YOU" well...together they guys all form that group >.< (I'm on 7...I need an 8th xD)

1. The First Character Seeker of the Sun Miqote.




2. The Second and my favourite; My Sea Wolf Roegadyn. A motherly and maternal figure who often lets emotions get the best of her.


3. His appearances are all short lived, he's usually performing reconnaissance, due to reappear in the next update...Duskwight Elezen. (I coulda swore I had more/better pics of him somewhere >.>)




4. My lovely Highlander! He's currently helping Ishgard rebuild. His little secret is that he loves singing, but he is really shy.




5. Xaela Au Ra; part of the treasure hunters faction at Idyllshire.



6. Xaela Raen, A temptress and trickster whose motives are unknown.



7. Wildwood Elezen, Female (Can't find my pics )

Then: 2. whatever...


Now: (I should be more creative with these screenshots)

Sooooo, the only thing that changed is my hairstyle and gave it a lighter color. Other than that, there's not much change at all.
I also gave him black eye shadow to look a bit worn-out.

I tried to go back to the old look... (I forgot to change the hair color to the original.)


...but it was short-lived. It didn't feel the same.
