Lighting Returns wasn't even a good game (IMHO). Please, no more.
I'd rather they brought in someone from FF8 or FF10... even Tactics.
If, Hydaelyn forbid, they do more FF13, at least give us Serah instead.

But they're usually an exception to the rule, the big AAA console ports and all. Japanese developers put out bad ports day in and day out without even supporting it after release.

Honestly, I sick of SE ramming that lame-@ss character down my throat. This recent FFXI event is pretty boring, too. I wish they'd stop reminding me of the time I played the horrendous game. All the games/series/collaborations SE has under their belt, surely they can come up with something new to crossover with.

SE and Lightning Return rant

Lightning should have never returned in the first place. They should have stop FFXIII with the first installment, when it still had its dignity. XIII-2 and Lightning Rertuns have just destroyed the reputation of a game with good plot and a not-so-good gameplay.
Lightning Returns is so awful It's hard to think it was published by SE. The game's graphic looks like that of a PS2 - Late PsOne game, the battle system is boring and uselessly complicated. The outfit they designed for Lightning is just the prove of SE inability to treasure their characters.

Honestly, if it wasn't for Bravely Default and FFXIV I would be ignoring everything from SE now. These two games have partially restored my trust in this company and I'm happy Kitase will be working on only mobile-phones games: He is the worst produces SE has ever had.

Back to FFXIV, I don't want to see the same event again. I'ìm tired of playing the same old thing again and again. If we are talking about glamour, then I would like to see "new" glamours - but what I think this game is lacking is actually playable content: new dungeons (even limited-time dungeons!), new bosses, new events .. recycling is good only in real life

You do realize that the majority consensus is that FF13 was beyond awful, and that FF13-2 and FF13-3 "redeemed" them? Not that it was redeemed by any stretch of the imagination, but people to seem to think the sequels are far better for the most part. As for why SE creating 3 games, they spent so much money on developing the engine (gotta get those eyes perfect right?) that they had to make sequels to make the money back. Creating 3 games with reused assets is much cheaper than creating 2 entirely new games.

FF13 looks nice thats all rest of all the 3 games are garbage i got into the first part of disc 2 on the first game and quit right there it was just awful
