Well, the good thing is: I was always happy to spam my screenshots, so even though most stages of my transformation are not on this PC, if I just google myself, I find something for each stage, so I guess it's fine xD

No XI screenshot because I dropped that game after about 2 days, found it horrible, but I was that female cat thingy.

My 1.0 look never changed: short, reddish brown hair, the most tomboyish body build and all the possible facial scars.



ARR beta and 2.0 start: all that changed was that her hair became really red now, as well as an added star-facial tattoo After this screenshot I left the game for about a year.

Sub-stage where the hair was still red but other changes applied already:

Return at the end of 2014 look: for the first time, let Meo's hair grow out, got rid of facial scars, plucked her eyebrows, and bleached her hair. Basically, Meo finally became a lady x)
The one thing that had never changed were her cat-like lightgreen, shiny eyes


For Heavensward, I knew right away I'd turn into an Au Ra lady, mainly because I was so sick and tired of glamours always not going well with my red or orange hair. I wanted bluish colors, for once!xD
So what came to be was one of my biggest regrets: doing my ingame-marriage as a tomboyish Au Ra
Half of the time my face wasn't showing and when it was visible, I looked incredibly mad to get married at all xD


So, of course, next came an extreme girlification again: longer hair, less scales, softer facial features and a f*cking rose-colored heart on the cheek, because....girly!!xD

Sub-stage with a middle ground I really liked, not too girly, not too tomboyish:

Around autumn 2015 I got tired of Au Ra, mainly that they generally just look too cold and detached and that no earrings are showing on them.
I decided to go back to Miqo'te, but since I had 2 phantasia left, I decided to switch to Lala in between
The plan was to do it for one week, but...it lasted for about..2 months?xD Just too adorbs :3


Shortly before 3.1, the final return to Miqo'te: old look, but without the bright-green eyes. Had enough of giving people depreciatory looks x)


Since it was an old look, I got bored of it in about 3 days?

Poor Tal is a Fantasia addict, but it's mostly always within the same three races.




He was even a girl for a little while! I kinda miss her. Midlander women are so adorable.



But he always manages to go back to kittyboy eventually.

Lmao. I noticed this when I went through my EB ceremony too. My bond partner is a female Au Ra and both of us ranged from bored to annoyed to angry in 90% of the wedding cutscenes. When they did smile... it was almost worse. x3

I've gone through a few big changes so far...

When I started playing a couple years ago, I started as an Elezen. Because Elves are best! But then I realized that their proportions bothered me. I tried a few subtle changes and came to the conclusion that I just couldn't play an Elf in this game, which saddens me greatly. I unfortunately do not have screenshots, as I was on PS3 at the time aand just didn't even think about it.

Soo, I made the switch to Highlander!



I had been excited for Au Ra, and then disappointed with how the females turned out, mainly how short they are. But I decided to try it out for a bit after creating an alt and just looving their emotes. I loved my Highlander, but eventually that angry stare got to me. Whiiich brings us to now. There have been a couple hairstyle/color changes, but I do love my little fish face Au Ra.

This was my 1st character that I had for nearly a year. i was always "meh" about his appearance since he always looked plain compared to everyone else since I used my free Fantasia to make very minor changes and I didn't want to risk going too out of my comfort zone. Also, back then you could not purchase Fantasias and you were only given that one free as Vet rewards. Even then, I'll always have fond memories:


When Fantasia was finally purchasable i decided to switch into a miqo'te and boy was that fun! I also changed the name to be more lore-friendly. I had this character for probably over 6+ months and I managed to complete all pre-3.0 DoW/DoM jobs with him. If I were to switch, I'll switch back to this one, but with minor changes:



I eventually changed into a Highlander since I liked their physique and one of the face options, but i was never truly satisfied due to gear and hairstyles not looking right on a highlander. The small eyes + no eyebrows annoyed me to no end:


When Heavensward went up, I immediately changed into an Au Ra. I liked the horns, but I didn't like the face but decided to endure thinking I'd get used to it, but I just could not


After a week I switched to the face option that I wanted in the 1st place. Luckily, the horns was also my 2nd option. It's a shame that we can't choose horns ;_; Annd I've been this character ever since

Starting with 2.0 Beta:

A. My first beta Miqo'te, when there wasn't much choice for colour palettes or hairstyle. *_*
B. That was when there was more choices, still using Face 3.
C. Used Face 2 (which will later prove to be my choice later on).
D. A Seeker of the Sun version of B.

2.0 Release:

A and B used Face 2, but while I liked the colour scheme for A (reminded me of when I played night elf), I liked the overall selection of B better. Soon after release, I stopped playing, but then I came back and remade a character.

My choice for miqo'te looks, loved Face 2 in the end:


I would often change to the pony tail option, since it seemed to fit best as a realistic option for when he wanted to put his hair up (similar length etc...).


Going from miqo'te to au ra, I realised that I change my hair a lot more as au ra:

Not my personal screenshot, but this is my model in FFXI. Cerberus server from 2005-2013. Started as White Mage (WHM) but turned Ninja (NIN) in 2008. By 2009, I had become a Corsair (COR), moved to Asura in 2013, and retired in November 2014 as COR due to my dedication to FFXIV:


This is my main and only character. Started FFXIV in beta phase 1 on PS3. While this image is my same character model, I started as a CNJ with red hair. By late October 2013, I changed the color to black/purple and became BRD main. I became a NIN when ROG released and currently still main NIN. I have never used a Fantasia or changed my name:

later on i decided to try to leave my comfort zone and try being an elezen! it really grew on me and i didnt change race until heavensward's release

excited for the aura with my love for horns i became my favorite pointy melon head

an extra fantasia bottle and a moment of weakness = a week of regrets

and finally the current! although i am thinking of going back to my melon head au'ra with a few tweaks!

I think it's so cool when people have kept the same character from the beginning... at first I changed races because I was bored and wanted to try out the others, now I change because I can't decide between my elezen and my au ra. I love my elezen's face and voice, but glamours and emotes don't look so good... I love my au ra's emotes and glamours, but I hate being short even at max au ra height. Regularly switching is the only option
