Thancred and Y'shtola dated in their earlier years in Sharlaylan. Thancred was a hoodrat, and Y'shtola was totally into the 'bad boy' type.

Alphinaud and Alisaie totally would switch. When Alphinaud REALLY embarrassed himself back in the studium, he'd have to give Ali a month of allowance for her to pretend to be him.

Alphinaud was the gross kind of kid where he'd pick his nose and eat the boogers ( I mean he was ELEVEN) . That is, until his crush on Y'shtola. Krile gave him advice on becoming a 'bad boy' and Alphinaud, again being that he was 11, thought learning how to figure draw ( DRAWING NEKKID PEOPLE) was bad. Though, after a while he just liked drawing.

Kan-E had a lisp when she was younger and was embarrassed by it. That’s why she speaks so precisely and distinctly now.

I'd say the fact she is stuck in the body of a 15 year old would be more likely. She goes to great lengths to appear more regal so people don't dismiss her for looking so young.

Being a Padjal would suck.

It was said that Mistbeard (Eynzahr/ Merlwyb's 2nd in command) kidnapped and laid with the current Sultana's mother in Sastasha ... making it possible that Nanamo Ul Namo is mistbeard child :O

Actually I believe this legend was brought up in an interview and Koji said it dated back quite a long time, so I don't think Nanamo is Mistbeard's child:P

As for Shtola and Thancred, I'm always seeing an "It didn't work out but we're still friends" mind of banter in their dialog. Like they USE to date.but are now just good friends.

And your opinion on shtola and thancred is exactly my line of thinking. It didn't work out but theyre just good friends XD

Yda is in fact the long lost princess of Ala Mahigo. This is why she always hid half her face.

The first time Raubahn lifted Nanamo onto his shoulder after losing his arm, he lost his balance and almost dropped her. A Flames private later found him practicing lifting with a sack of flour.

Pipin is in fact the illicit lovechild between Raubahn and Nanamo (magic was involved) who's traveled back in time (again, magic) in order to save his once and future kingdom from a as-of-yet unnamed threat.
...Because the first time Pipin showed up and introduced himself as Raubahn's son, my head went places...

Kan-E-Senna sometimes talks to herself to aid her thinking process, and when others see her at it, passes it off as talking to the Elements.

This is my main headcanon. I don't particulary care about them having that kind of past relationship, but I think all their snarly comments are SO obvious xD
I feel like one day we'll find out it was canon all along °-°
Y'shtola still beats herself up over falling for his sweettalk whenever she sees him doing it to other ladies now.

In the Japanese versions it's way more explicit that Haurchefant is interested in the player... he even offers to share his bedroom with you until Alphinaud (bleep)blocks him.

And Lucia's definitely got that on lockdown. She got her third eye on him.

"Alphinaud! You're not my chaperone. Now go back and cuddle up to your sugardaddy Cid!"

Yeah. That's part of my headcanon. Alphinaud has a thing for a certain older male engineer.
Raubahn ordered a large amount of Trader's Spurn be created in case the Erozeans lost the Battle of Battle of Carteneau. It's still in storage and is intended to be used as a last ditch weapon against the Empire.
