I know they're practically worthless, sure in bulk but that doesn't matter when they're rare. Whereas 8 tokens could get you a crafting material that goes for 40-70,000 gil after you've obtained the Pegasus (assuming you were after that).
My server is like 100-200k of gil for 8 tokens in mats.
