Punish DOL and Afker's in Diadem

They don't punish AFKers at all, in the game in general. Even though they should. Never understood why the auto-kick is not a permanent thing.

But isn't there a timer in actual duties that kicks you if you're not doing anything for ... idk how many minutes? o.o I could swear I've seen it somewhere - is that not in effect in Diadem?

It is in effect there; I had to leave for dinner so I just AFK'd for a bit (it was just me and a friend, we were testing out 2-man with our airship). I had to come back periodically to stop the timer from kicking me completely.

How about NO? If Square Enix didn't want people to be allowed to gather then they wouldn't have put in gathering nodes nor allow us to change jobs to miner/botanist/fisher. If it was intended that gatherers only gather in preformed groups then there would be restrictions in place that represent that.

Yes there is even if it makes 0 sense to implement this type of content into it. It's where 90% of the complaints stem from. At least in a party finder group your putting your reputation as a player on the line to not be a knob and if you do then don't expect to get many invites back.

Gathering is fine in Diadem, putting the content into the Duty finder was the big mistake.

OP isn't suggesting that gatherers shouldn't be allowed in there, just that they aren't able to loot rewards they didn't work for. Why does that get a fervent "NO"? Perhaps you wouldn't mind if battle classes were able to roll on anything and everything you gathered.

Or you could go with a premade party of friends like it was intended.

Heck even making a party finder and laying out your own ground rules is better than duty finder. Why would anybody want to duty find diadem?
