New Void Ark loot system is flawed.

Is it difficult to implement a system that checks the composition of the of the party and then have loot for them drop instead of dropping pieces for classes that arent in the party 90% of the time? Or is this another "subtle" attempt at SE trying to artificially keep people subbed for longer by making the items people are after harder to get?

Not when you can't roll on it till next week. Got three i210 pieces with superior stats in the last Diadem run so that lockout is kinda pointless now.

It's better, but they should get rid of belts. Nobody really wants the belts.

But honestly I'd prefer something closer to what Alex normal has with the tokens. The reason is that I want to get tank gear, but I can't play as a tank because the queue times are insane. So I'm left going as DPS and hoping a tank piece (not the belt, because that's useless) drops that the actual tank doesn't want or need.

I didn't think this was possible but 1st boss dropped the 2 healing hats like OP BUT THEN 2nd boss dropped the hat as well seriously wtf.

Speak for yourself. For my alt I'm trying to get any gear I can get for its main job whm so if I was in a VW where a healer belt dropped I'd need on it.

I think it solves the 'only running this for exactly one boss fight' problem, although getting duplicate items from a single chest is a bit annoying. (But it's better than only getting one item to begin with!)

Queue in progress as dps, kill last boss for token. Never return because the gear is outdated upon release. This is SE's standard. Unfortunately.
