Thordan ex sucks.

I tried thordan ex 3 times.

Failed 3 times.

Yet I know this isn't because of my dps, but because we failed the mechanics. It's still a new fight and it's a well designed one.

Players complain about dps checks being number 1, needing to do 90% max dps is too difficult

A trial is made where dps isn't main priority, plenty of soft enrages but with the main focus towards mechanics, players complain

I've seen a few wipes due to failed DPS checks here, I've seen a DPS doing 400-500 DPS on more than a few occasions. I just give it up for the day when that happens.

That's very sad to see im a ps4 player myself so its impossible for me to know what numbers people are pushing, can only see if a friend is there providing information.

yesterday I joined up with a diadem pf party, 2 of the members didn't realise it had a 2hr cooldown (drg mch). 20mins were remaining but we all agreed to wait for them, I didn't mind gave me a little levelling time with my fisher and at least they know it from now on.

We enter with these 2 and how are we repayed? the drg wasmore focused on making custom emotes than dpsing, and the mch didn't bother attacking stars. This resulted in us not getting credit for 4/5 star ranks.... that was it for me, once the run finished I just logged off :/

The 1 star drop we actually got credit for you know what dropped? A drg head, I died a little inside

Edit: Did my first learning group today ^.^ this fight is so fun, group lasted full 90mins we got ourselves to P4 meteors. Took a little while for our tanks to get accustomed to sword oath knight, very enjoyable so far and looking forward to the next set of mechanics

What if Thordan EX is designed to counter all the robotic clear methods like DPS parsers and more mechanic focused? I mean I haven't touched him but I'm just throwing it out there.

It's new, it's a wall and we haven't seen one in awhile so that's interesting.
