What if you are paired with 7 other idiots every time you create a pf. I created 5 and had at least 3 idiots per game. Some joined even when I stated knowledge of mechanics was needed but they were just freshly new. So, like all forumites suggested, I should help them and train them right? I did. They bailed after they learn the mechanics, didn't clear and I raged inside.

Then it's the player's problem not the trial itselft. Be patient or find friends to go together
I am an english palyer too but seriously JP players are more friendly in this, if you put experienced players only they won't join if they are new.

FF14 allows you to clear all content. Eventually.
It never stated that everyone should be able clear everything on launch, what the point in various difficulty then and difference in skill between players?

Titan EX would be a nightmare for you. It came earlier and was significantly harder for most people. It still quite usual to see half of party dead in unsynced(!) party on Titan EX pony farming.

I don't know what to tell you. Stop PFing it and try to get your static to clear it. If you can't do that, then I guess continue PFing it while befriending those who understand the fight and have a drive to down it. Eventually, you'll find your 8.

There's nothing wrong with the fight. I haven't cleared it yet either, but I've had a lot of fun teaching friends the mechanics and learning the later phases. You have to remember its barely been a week since the patch drop, so of course there's going to be new people. Either way, its better than the beating head against wall wipefest that was Alexander Savage.

It's not like an idiot bell goes off when someone joins your Party Finder, if SE would implement that phase practice thing this wouldn't be too much of an issue. This primal is significantly harder than all those before it, so it's no surprise that people go in expecting Ravana. But SE is to blame, why? They didn't lock this behind Ravana and Bismarck, I've seen people literally do 500 DPS with i200-i210 pieces (I wish I was joking)!
