I hope it comes back for those that did not get the first 2 times. But.. since SE has started a tradition of putting past event items in the Mog Station, I think its more likely that the outfit + hairstyle will be sold via the Mog Station. I dont know if the weapon will be sold aswell, but if they do.. then this might be the start of special weapon skins via Mog Station only. Your question will be answered the end of November, since FFXIII:LR will be released early Decemeber, so if there is no event or news of the items being sold via Mog Station, then its likely they wont be released.

Either way, it will be obtainable for you, but I hope via ingame and not Mog Station.

Personally, I wouldn't mind the shop as long it is reasonable in pricing. At least then I can have it on all my characters on various servers instead of having to juggle around each one of them during the event.

Gods, I hope not. I liked Iromi more, and I've never played FF11 and had zero clue who she was.

I played about 30 minutes of FF13, it didn't hook me, and the characters -- mainly Lightning -- made me say, "Um, I don't think I want to play this."

Why not give us a whole new Lightning event instead of just using the same one again ... New event, same rewards, maybe something new.

Because the less development time spent on that horrid character the better, if they were going to spend dev time on a new crossover there are plenty of far better options... even if it just rewarded something like a hat.

New players arrive on the daily, even if the event lasted an entire year you can bet that only a week later there'd be someone saying they missed it. Obviously the solution would be to place it either in the Gold Saucer for a hefty amount of MGP, or on the Mogstation.

But Japan loves limited edition things. I'm pretty sure there'd be even MORE of them in this game if it weren't for the large western population it's pulled in.
(In fact I'm about 99% sure my favourite soda ever, 桃ファンタ, was a limited time special seasonal flavor and I only got lucky enough to try it when over there due to the stars aligning. I've been asking my friend for YEARS to send me more but he only just found one bottle this last fall.)

I agree. We will forever see people complain they missed it even if the event comes back. Would solve the problem if they make it available to all via MGP or Cash shop. Granted we'll then have the complaints that others got it for free, but hey ho, don't want don't buy.

Taking the ending of XIII-3 into consideration, I don't really think that that would even be an option.

SE, please, for the love of the Twelve, just put the Lightning/Snow/Dragon Quest/FFXI/Moogle Outfit/otherwise unattainable items into the Cash Shop already and be done with it. It's not like there isn't precedence *cough*Moonlet*cough*...

Probably true. Western audiences tend to loathe limited exclusives with a passion. Personally, I've never seen the benefit of it myself. Toss the items on the Cash Shop and it's still bonus for those who got them free.
