FFXIV is the first MMO I've played, so I'm still getting to grips with how they work in general. I work a *lot*, so I'm not around all the time. However, I love the world and I want to become more sociable within it, preferably with people who'll be patient with a newbie. I tend to avoid dungeons after a few bad experiences with other players...

As someone who is really quite shy IRL and panics whenever forced to use the Duty Finder, this seems like the kind of free company I'd really like to be a part of. Would you guys accept a more casual player who's still getting used to the game?

Absolutely! We have quite a few players who are newish and lots of us feel the same about DF. We're aiming at building a community where getting an FC group is the norm and you don't have to touch DF if you don't want to.

As someone who has social anxiety, I just bump your thread a little and desire you best of wishes!... I have to work in an office, having to receive people there all day, attend the phone... When I get to the game I want just to either go PvP and kill people, or do stuff alone, not having to talk or message anyone at all.

Lately, I'm doing the best effort ever to, even, talk in raids and make my own static somehow, pure effort, or pure wish of raiding at all cost. It's not easy for people like us...

A quick bump! We also have 3 weekly events that you might be interested in!

The first is crafting/gathering Sunday basically buffs are up all day and a few members use this to their benefit

Next is every Thursday we use the whole evening to help out new members through story, or any member through story (ARR + HW) or if you want to try a new class out we can run dungeons for that too so you can learn your class better or just level

And last is every Saturday we do FC raids, this is limited at the moment and we hopefully will use this time to farm coils and ex primals for glamour/ponies/crafting items! But hopefully in the future we can be having a go together at the new content thrown at us

I've been a member for almost a month and no one's bitten me yet
Actually, for someone who comes from a MOBA background, it feels weird that after a group has wiped a few times nobody gets called names, even jokingly, but I think I can get used to it

Been here a couple of months now and I have to say really nice FC, good atmosphere and things get done if you need them.

We are hoping to help people catch up and get some primals coils and and other things finished for those who need/want the help.

Tea is served at 4, biscuits are a maybe as I prob have eaten them all :P
