Diadem's kinda annoying..

I actually, surprisingly, enjoy Diadem. So far I've only gone in (mostly) with people from my PvP linkshell though. Haven't had a bad experience. It's a grind fest for sure, but imo it's a billion times better than doing hunts for upgrades. I'd rather jump off a bridge than do hunts.

Most pugs will pass i210 if it's not for their main (which is usually the class they go on). Every once in a while, you will see a couple people who disagree and say they will roll anyway, and unless they change their mind, people will just leave. It's not worth their time if there's a chance they might not get their loot.

How would you feel, OP, if you lost a Ninja chest piece with VIT, DEX, CRIT, DET, and SKSPD to a healer who didn't even have NIN unlocked? You'd probably be pretty pissed. Which is why people now express common courtesy in this content, especially since you can't replace those who leave, so their requests about the i210 are taken seriously.

People moan when others greed on all 210 gear. They say; "Thats not fair! You should let people have the gear." Not to be rude but no. I dont have to. Its greed only. I shouldnt have to pass because people are afraid of losing rolls. I was threatened to be reported if I rolled on 210 gear that wasnt for my class specifically. -.-

Yeah can't really moan about that when we all can change jobs on the fly in there.

Said it before, I'll say it again, why would you duty find this to begin with?

Even if you have no friends or an FC workshop to go from, using party finder and letting everyone know it's a chill run where you can do whatever would be better than randoms.

That is literally not even possible as the ninja would be able to 'need' on it. Unless he's on the wrong class, which would be his own fault.

Theres no kick option which I enjoy but however, people moan when someone goes afk for a minute or two, or when people are gathering.

I go out to look for buried coffers, people moan. Excuse me, I'm trying to get you all EXTRA loot to roll on. Sorry if thats wrong? Of course I still participate in the fights but I really hate fighting in Diadem. I always get killed, I can't do my rotations correctly because theres always another ninja there distracting me, lag, or the screen blinds me from the flashing lights that appear when over 30+ people attack one mob.

Its a mess. Anyone else feel this way?

my solution for trying to enjoy diadem:

1: dont agree to anything
2: make your own rules for courtesy and fairness when it comes to loot, and keep in mind their is no repercussions for greeding everything since you have a right to.
3: if you want to gather, go ahead. Its duty finder. If others wanted to grind for 90 mins straight then that's their problem, otherwise they'd use party finder with rules stating everyone will grind.
4: someone calls you names for playing that mode your way = ignore, or the next best thing, report, then relish the fact that they'll be scrambling in fear of a ban if they keep that shit up.
5: if you have to go to the bathroom or an emergency or even something trivial, just go ahead no ones stopping you, there's not even a kick option. Common courtesy would say brb, but even then they'd still be pissed, just ignore or take your chances with your kindness to just be shoved in your face
6: If your fighting big mobs and your a healer, don't heal random players, they may have pulled something and your next in line for their meal. :/
7: Caves......don't even.

That's all I have and I've enjoyed this mode a little more.....still disappointing though.

I've only gone in twice, once with DF and once with the FC. I've yet to see any 210s drop, so don't know how people will react if I greeded on them. But I'm going to greed on everything that drops because I want the Pegasus. Once I have it, I'll start passing for others. The only thing I have a problem with is trying to figure out what the rest of the group wants to do, because the DF group I went in with didn't talk much. I only got to stay for hour with the DF group, because eventually they started leaving and I can't get credit for something with just a few people. Had more fun with the FC, though.
