At that point, you should focus on getting Hasty Touch - CP free- (Cul 15) and Tricks of the trades - regain 20 CP for each red ball - (Alc 15) and Rumination - regain CP proportionnally to the number of "touches" you made (Car 15) to maximize the numbers of moves you can make without using too much CP / or recover some.
Waste Not (LTH 15) can be interesting to get for the durability 40 items, as it cut the moves by half (instead of going 40>30>20.., it will go 40>35>30>25)

Got my CUL to 37 today. I've been working on GC turn-ins to boost my under 15 classes, but CUL was my next main focus. ARM and BSM are both 13. Everything is 15 or higher. I reckon they'll be 15 by the end of the week while I shift my major focus to CRP 50. GSM will likely earn me another cross-class skill soon.

Try this, eat a Stone Soup for 17 CP.
    Start with Inner Quiet.
Create an IQ-build up phase using Steady Hand II, Waste Not and Hasty Touches.
Take up to 1 Trick within WN.
Redo SH II, WN phase with Hasty Touches. If you didn't take Trick earlier, take 1 Trick within WN now. If you did take a Trick earlier, ignore the Good here, and keep touching.
Recover 30 durab with Master's Mend.
Steady Hand II, Hasty 1 or 2 more,
Then Great Strides, Standard Touch or Advanced Touch as a final phase (use Byregot if you have it).
Finish up with Careful Syn or Basic Syn.

Thanks for the advice. As I've been updating this thread with my milestones, I've found I'm consistently doing better with HQ. CUL was actually easier than I feared. Of course I had the advantage of being able to do 12 ixal quests a day, an advantage I did not have on my first class to 50, WVR. I'll work on getting a 60 eventually. CRP 50 is next though.

I'm happy to report I got my CRP to 50. While I never got on my lower jobs much, I still did the GC turn-ins and got everything at least 15. Needless to say, by the time I got this class to 40, the same level as my WVR was in the OP, I was HQing much more consistently. Which meant faster exp for leves.

I already love Blessing! I used Brow occasionally on my WVR, but now that I have something to compare it to, Brow feels like a poor man's Blessing. Lower success rate. 70% means no matter what I do, it can still fail. Blessing allows me to put on SH to ensure success. Plus Blessing doesn't require me to trigger Good. I tend to use this when my only steps left are progress.

Blessing is truly a blessing! No other Byregots can beat it! ^^

Bear in mind, just like any other 70% action, Steady Hand 2 adds 30% to it and brings it up to "never fail". That's the reason that people rank 37 CUL so highly (second only to Byregot's Blessing).

Personally, I tend to get my crafts done by doing PRogress first, so I am one Careful Synthesis 2 away from finishing it. Then I max out the Quality as best I can. Often, it is better to finish the synthesis with less than 100% Quality, than it is to 100% Quality it but be unable to complete the Progress.

On a long rotation craft byregot's miracle can be super strong
But the requirement to use it are huge... (specialist, having like 8 IQ stack minimum, and enough turn left to rebuilt IQ and BB the craft...)

If I could give a little advice...
Once you have access to the gold saucer go and buy a lot of stone soup !
Cost nothing and give you 17CP
Which is the best to ease your rotation.
