Overall I dislike this growing #worryingtrend of speed run all the things.
As many have stated, don't queue if you are in a rush. Mostly because you don't know who you will get paired with. Error on the side that you CAN control.
Just come back to the game later if you are feeling rushed. Tensions are too high if you play stressed.

We're not in a rush. It's just our normal speed.

But the "Normal" Speed is based on an above average conditions (if queuing solo, if queuing on a team then ignore the below):

    1) Need a tank that can properly pull large groups. This requires awareness of the job and defensive cooldowns. Based on forums alone, it would be silly to assume that the RNG would be so in your favor that you would get a tank that can do this without first observing her/him.

    2) Need Average/Decent AoE dps who aren't AFK playing. On this one the odds are higher than average, but it's more advantageous to assume derpyness if not in a group.

    3) Need a healer who knows what to do to make the run smooth on the HP side. This is a bit higher than the Tank Condition and the DPS condition. So odds are in your favor for this one.

There are 3 conditions that you have no control over as opposed to one condition that you can control. Even if your "Normal" Speed is Fast, you still are capable of dialing it back to "Normal" and even "Slow". Don't misunderstand me, I am always grateful for fast runs, but I never assume that as a standard.

As my mother taught me, The only person you can ultimately control is yourself. You can't make a new Tank get better, or DPS be better. You can make yourself go a bit slower than your presupposed average and still get your reward.
