15 dollars for a nondyeable, one-piece outfit?

I can't believe the audacity to sell an outfit like this for $15 coupled with selling the other outfits for $8. Most of the other scion's outfits can be made with gear already in the game. Sure, you won't have the accessories and it may not be a 100% complete match, but it'll save you money!

I'm openly against the cash shop but they still suckered me with the minfilia outfit. Been craving that since first week of 2.0. They'll have to release that sweet yshtola outfit and hair from heavensward for me to buy anything else though.

There is no "good part" of a cash shop in a subscription-based MMO, in my opinion.

So long the cash items don't give you an advantage in the ingame contents (and fashion show don't count as content), you can ignore it and that is the good part. Someone who buy something is no better in anything than someone who buy nothing.

F2P games on the other hand don't have ignoreable cash shops

I logged on a few hours after the patch went live and saw about 2-3 people wearing the outfit already.. Throughout the day, I'd estimate I saw about 30-40 different people in the dress.

Keep complaining if you want to, but Square Enix already won.

That is the good part ot FF XIV cash shop: it is all vanity and you don't have to buy it.

Cash shop stuff is purely cosmetic / fan service gear for people who can afford it. They put famous stuff on it, such as Minfillia's outfit or Sleipnir. That's ok. SE's designers worked a lot on these items, which are not what you pay with your subscribtion, why should they give them for free?

If it's too expensive, then dont buy it.
