15 dollars for a nondyeable, one-piece outfit?

Yeah, this seemed a little odd... Not only did they add new dyes for people to buy, but new outfits... that cannot be dyed. Seems like a missed opportunity to get people to buy dyes and outfits together.

I would like:

-The outfit to be dyable (The whole outfit, not just some parts of it - tint sections a shade of the dye color etc.)

-Physics to be added in the "proper regions." (Not sure if this is just an oversight, but it lacks any sort of "physics" in the chest region")

-Having it in parts would be nice, but seems unlikely at this point.

If they could go in and add at least the first two things, I would be pretty happy. This was given to me as a gift from a friend. Imagine our disappointment when we found out these lacking features. Kinda put a damper on things.

I had someone link it to me in-game, tried it on on my Elezen, and bought it afterwards. I really like how it looks on an Elezen, and I personally wouldn't even consider mixing and matching it with other gear. I'm not using the hair, since I don't like how that looks on an Elezen, even though I really like the hairstyle in general.

In the end, for me personally, the price seems fair because I now have another enjoyable bit of glamour gear without having to spend hours upon hours in-game to get enough gil for. That said, it would've been nice to at least have the option to get it through in-game means for those who can't/don't want to afford it from Mog Station.

You can get the dyes also from the retainers.
the dyes in the cash shop are only for those who don't have luck wih their retainers, or don't want to buy it for 200k gil from people who had luck with their retainers.

I think the reason the outfits are all one piece are because some would allow players to wear plate as any class (namely Yda and Papalymo) so they made it one piece. Square really does want to keep the roles clearly defined it seems.

Square Enix are you taking the piss right now? 15 dollars is way, way too much for a outfit, much less one you can't dye, which is just the one piece, that you can't mix and match.

This would have been a buy at like 2.50. 5 dollars would be a bit much. 10 would be out of my price range and a bit high. 15 is way too much - a single outfit should not cost more than (or equal to, if you aren't basic) a month's sub.

I guess it's optional and I don't have to buy it but it's A) kind of disappointing to see more stuff get shoved into the cash shop and B) I'd probably still buy this at a more reasonable price point.

I paid $24 dollars for a mount that can't fly. How do you think I feel!?

The thing people seem to be overlooking is the fact that this outfit and hairstyle has been in the game for over two years, it probably took SE minimal effort to turn it into glamour and now they are charging quite a considerable amount for it.

I'm not to fused because I don't want to look like an npc, but it is a bit sly when you think about it.

That is the good part ot FF XIV cash shop: it is all vanity and you don't have to buy it.

There is no "good part" of a cash shop in a subscription-based MMO, in my opinion.
