I was never really taught about it, I just knew that the way I was seeing stuff was different than other people in my classes, luckily I was fortunate to have had a teacher that pulled me aside and was willing to work with me and work their lesson plans around to help me in that regard, but in health/science etc nah, for us it was never even skimmed over at all, Not necessarily saying ignorance should completely exempt people from anything, I just can kind of understand people not really understanding the problems (and sometimes physical pain) that arise from the issue at hand. (I'm prone to sever migraines if I try to strain myself too much with layered coloration) =) I'm glad theat your school went above and beyond with it though, it's always good to see
