Just had a Neverreap DF run. Tank was bossy to the Ninja at the start of the fight and he started to call names and being very, very rude during first boss fight.
To top it off, he died several times during trash mobs and boss fights, he was not that good but we didn't complain.
The party conversation is below:
White = Tank
Brown = Ninja
Pink = Healer
Green = FC chat
This made me really sad. I am relatively new to the game and I know most of you would say that I should grow a thicker skin. Normally I don't get that much sad, but this person started to get personal and called me names.
I have already depression and this was totally unnecessary and I had to report him.

I'll throw you an add on FFXIV. I'm Nomfur on there. I'll give you some help. That way you feel safer.Just had a Neverreap DF run. Tank was bossy to the Ninja at the start of the fight and he started to call names and being very, very rude during first boss fight.

White Mage ~ Scholar ~ PaladinBoi if you got kicked for the same thing in over 20 duties I strongly suggest you think hard on whatever the hell it is you're doing
As I'm sure you are well aware, it takes more than one person to be able to kick a player from a duty, so in all those instances there were at least two people agreeing they'd be better off without you tanking.
Undergeared tanks level 55+.
For christ sake, buy gear from the npc if you have to. Just don't show me your full i120 set when the boss is smashing your faceas if you yourself are said dungeon boss's DPS check.

There were really no mechanic spoilers since it was a run 30 minutes after the servers had opened, so we were ALL learning together. There is no reason to turn off Alliance Chat on a blind/learning run.
Umm. Are you saying at lvl 55, tanks with i120 are undergeared? Because the new gear you can buy in the market at that level is gathering and crafting gear. No additional gear for tank class on the MB. The lvl 54 tank gear is around ilvl133 max if I'm not mistaken. So ilvl 120 at lvl 55 isn't bad at all....
Sorry if I misunderstood what you were trying to say, but it seems more like you are the one in error on this one...
And it's not a tank's job to ensure DPS checks are met. That would be the DPS... Tanks can help, yes. But their job is to hold aggro and tank the damage the other's can't handle. Tanks helping with DPS is great. But it's not their "job".
EDIT: just to ensure it's clear, I am stating on the MB. I know you can pick up better equip on higher lvl dungeons. But at the same time, those are drops in which you have to hope to get the reward as well as he may have been TRYING to do that while you're writing him off as a bad player on the forums.

And if it had been at least a couple of days since release, it wouldn't matter to me. But a few hours after release, on a normal weekday where it's more than likely that the majority of the population will be busy at work/school until later in the day, and people are not only expecting others to need handholding but primarily opening the floor for discussing other parts of the patch. (Which was the main reason I turned it off.) And since it was off, I have no idea if there were any well-meant instructions. *shrugs*
No, there's not =) I merely offered it as a possible explanation. (Another would be language problems, of course.)
I think that what they meant was, "as if getting the tank down was a DPS check for the boss".
I am so infuriated right now.
My job: AST
Setting: The Void Ark
Boss: The fat thing whatever
Theme: Healing
Problem: I have no idea what the other two groups' healers were doing, but i have never had to babysit two other alliances in my time of playing here. I noticed that not a lot of heals were going out among the other two groups, while ours was doing perfectly fine, so, deciding that healing a few of them myself was better than potentially raising them later.
I watched those other healers in both groups, 4 healers. All of them were doing the bare minimum of healing. The ASTs were not using their hots at all, and i only saw the WHMs tossing a few regens/cures out (every group was comprised of WHM/AST combo). I eventually had to leave them to their own devices and focus on my own group. Needless to say, we wiped several times, but my group was always the last to die.
That was the first group i have ever seen where all 3 parties used the healer LB3 at the same time. It was both gorgeous and tragic.
But seriously, how lazy a healer must you be to do the bare minimum in a raid environment. How lazy must you be to let a healer from a different party OUT HEAL YOU IN YOUR OWN PARTY.
I still can't believe this happened. I need to lie down.
Edit for important detail: I raised one entire group myself while the healers just sat there keeping their tank barely alive. If anyone says MP was an issue for them i'm going laugh because after all those raises i still was able to pull myself back together.

I got kicked from a duty finder dungeon for the first time last night. No clue why.
I was doing the main scenario roulette. We got the one where you fight ultima weapon. Was not AFK or anything and was not saying anything so it's not like anyone could think I was being rude. I was kicked abruptly after Nero died right before you fight Gaius on the lift. I still can't figure out why I was kicked.
Vault, just now.
Me and bf working on lvling MCH + DRG together so we que up to Vault. We get new tank and SCH who is obviously lvl 60. Everything goes fine until trash after first boss. Tank pulls everything and we start killing them. Appearently bf as DRG pulls hate of one mob and we take it down while tank holds off rest. SCH was not happy and told bf not to do that again. Me and bf were like "wtf?" because everything was fine, we burned the one mob down that tank lost hate to and no one died. I tell bf just to leave it at that, not to argue with SCH(because we seriously had no idea what the problem was).
We get to 2nd boss and bf walked too close to boss and pulled it accidently. SCH got pissed "Oh I guess you didn't pull that one either?" We didn't say anything, just let it goooooo~ Right after we kill 2nd boss they decide to vote kick bf which sadly goes through and I leave right with him.
