Is it unreasonable to seek people at the part of a fight as you are?

So, it's within 24 hours of patch 3.1's massive release. With this release, we see:

1 piece of high-end content (Thordon-EX)
2 pieces of middle-end content (Explorations + Void Ark)
2 peices of low-end content (Dungouns)

Today, I am frustrated by the high-end content. I create my own parties in PF, and lead them to the best of my ability. So far, it's going pretty well - I can get people to a point, but obviously, doing things like Thordon, there are going to be specific choke points.

The first one I've noticed is the Charge phases. Because of this, once I've mastered the charge phases (Whcih at this point I have. Only took about 2-3 tries, it's pretty easy!)

However, because of this progression, I attempt to create parties in the PF with the following tag:

"Thordan's Reign-EX : Mid Phase Party
Please be able to dodge charges. No completely news. Thanks!"
*For those unaware, this is about 3-4 minutes into the fight. The very first phase is EXTREMELY easy to learn but still takes a few tries to learn, especially the charges for most people.

Here are some of the responses I get because of this audacity to ask people to be at the same phase:

So I kinda want to pose a question of the point of what that player and I were discussing - Is it wrong/unreasonable to seek people at the same part of a fight that you are? To party finder for those parts, specifically? I welcome thoughts/opinions.

It's your Party Finder. Do what you like with it. If someone wants to do Thordan EX and doesn't like your Party Finder well they figured out how to open the menu - they can start their own group.

This is why I only run this content with people I know.

I guess I'm on the side of the fence that it's a bit odd to allready be phasing people out of PF groups for mechanics less than a day into the patch.

But hey it's your party finder and do what you want to.

I mean, it's easy for me, I don't garuntee it's easy for others. But I am able to find people really fast/easy atm for Thordon-EX: I'm not losing any time by denying people who want ot see the first part and learn it.

It's your pf, do what you like. Admittedly it isn't really a good sign to many people that those that haven't even had a chance to get inside are already being phased out, but it is what it is.

I'm of the camp that finds it odd to already be blocking people out within the first day.

It's just a fact that you won't ever progress if you're constantly having to bring in new people who haven't progressed any. Every time you make progress and someone leaves and a new person joins who hasn't progressed, it pulls the group back to square one.

Nothing is stopping new people from making a PF themselves for new people. It's unrealistic to expect everyone to be willing to take 2 steps back for every one step forward. And as great as it is for everyone to be able and willing to stay until the duty is complete and everyone knows what they're doing and is well practiced, PFs are not statics. People are PF pickups and will come and go.
